Our Jaguar buying experience with Royal Jaguar was very pleasant and easy. We selected this dealership because of their great relationship with the Tucson Jaguar Club. We think that says a lot about a dealership that sells New and Used cars. Their return policy appears to be above and beyond any dealership we have ever dealt with. We checked prices with dealerships from California, Nevada, and Arizona. They were very price competitive. We were not treated to the normal salesman and manager merry-go-round in the process of buying the car. Our Sales Consultant, Tim Taylor was very knowledgable on the 2014 F-Type we about to purchased and made the ordering process a breeze. Customer service levels were outstanding from start to finish. I live in Tempe, Arizona and was looking to trade in my 2002 Yukon XL Denali. I found a 2006 Jaguar S-Type online, low miles, navigation, interior/exterior great condition. I also found a 2011 Kia Optima 2002 Yukon XL Denali. I found a 2006 Jaguar S-Type online, low miles, navigation, interior/exterior great condition. I also found a 2011 Kia Optima in Tempe, lower miles, great features, even more wonderful gas mileage,1 owner, basically a brand new vehicle for only a few thousand more, but worth the extra dollars. I called about the Jaguar first, spoke with Wayne Saunders, he was excellent; upfront about my options, returned phones calls and emails to answer my questions promptly, sent me a link to view all pictures, was able to get an estimate of my monthly payments, interest rates, I knew all the numbers within hours. He even appraised my vehicle handsomely over the phone with just a description of my vehicle, he didn't even see photo's of it, he was like the Superman of sales! Then I called about the 2011 Kia, they basically did everything the opposite of Wayne, could not give me any information, the car was there, then it was sold, then they called me back and said "oops" its back or it never actually left, we lost it, but now found it. Then they acted like the vehicle was a top secret government project and could not disclose any information, I had to go to Area 51 and meet them at the secret location to receive the information. They gave me no numbers except to remind me of the great discounted price, which mysteriously increased when they learned the value of my trade in vehicle. Four different people called me in a 4 hour span to confirm and reconfirm my appointment. I faxed over an attachment of all my information they would need to start the finance process but they claimed they never received it, I resent it, then they said file was too big and it kept crashing their computers, but opened fine on my 2006 laptop, they must still use the Commodore 64 from the late 1980's. Even with all those issues, the bottom line, the price was still right for a very clean and basically new 2011 vehicle, but the customer service was all wrong. Wayne, at Royal Jaguar, made it clear for me I was going to drive 2 hours to meet him and purchase the Jaguar. Let me tell you, I got xxxx from my wife about my decision, she said I was acting uneducated, I reminded her I received a Master's degree, she tossed it from my desk. I was called dumb, stupid, questioned on why would I pass up a newer, more gas efficient, modern car for a 2006. I made one final deal with her and said "I work today, your off today, if you can get the numbers from them, we will buy the Kia" she was motivated. She ran into the same roadblocks I did and they told her she would have to drive to one location for the appraisal, another for finance, and another to pick up the car; she admitted the situation was not fun, they were not professional and this is coming from a major dealership called Earnhardt. We got to Royal Jaguar, met with Wayne, his manager test drove my truck, while Wayne and I test drove the Jaguar, all was great. We signed papers in about 10 minutes, he gave my wife a great departing gift for our purchase, he had put my license plate on while we were saying goodbye to the other staff members. My wife was so satisfied she raved about how great that process was, how nice the entire staff was, she saw other vehicles there she would love to drive in the future, then admitted that I made a wonderful choice in going with the Jaguar and Royal. On the drive home she was amazed at the condition of the vehicle and how great it drove. This purchase was solely made by the customer service I received from Wayne, the car is great, received a nice warranty and I couldn't be more satisfied, even ecstatic about my decision to drive 2 hours after work! My degree is back on my desk. Thanks Wayne and Royal! Cheers to you all!!! More
