There were no high pressure tactics. We viewed the car on line. We were tired coming in from vacation. Carter was very professional and made the experience great. They looked at our car. We were back on the road in no time! I told Carter what I needed to make the deal and he and the staff worked with me to make it happen! I live about 150 miles from the dealership and Carter met me halfway to pick up the car to help me with a family crisis. I'm happy with the car!!!! Way to go Carter!!! I have been looking for a used Yukon XL for many months. When I saw the one available at Royal I called and spoke with Carter Ward. He was very friendly and helpful with the info I needed. He promptly send me what all I asked for about the vehicle. I was worried about this being an out of star purchase and the logistics of getting the vehicle. However, Carter made sure everything was ready for the day I was able to come get the vehicle. He was also gracious enough to pick me up from the airport and bring me to the dealership. The process at the office was quick and smooth and I was on my way back home within the hour. Overall great experience! More

There were three main cause Typical milquetoast middle management There were some issues with getting my vehicle delivered on time and as paid for. There were three main causes: shipping delays, miscommunication from Royal, and detailers at Royal not doing their job. Royal isn't responsible for the shipping delays, but Micah, as the manager, is responsible for the other two. The miscommunication was on Micah's part, and my vehicle went back to the detailers twice - both times missing obvious issues like a large spill on the center console, a large spill on a seat, crumbs, leaves and grass, etc. What irked me was that Micah never returned my call to address my issues or even to see if they were eventually resolved. As the manager, Micah is responsible for how Royal operates and should be taking that responsibility himself. Ultimately, Douglas Stephens made sure I was taken care of, but it seemed like he was working by himself at Royal. When I asked, he admitted he had finally cleaned my vehicle since the detailers never did it. I still recommend Royal because the price was right, and the vehicle is solid, but the rest of my experience was decidedly mediocre. More
