Hello Jason, We're sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the work completed at our body shop. We have to go by what the parts suppliers tell us. When they say that the parts will be here on a certain day, we relay that information to the consumer. There are shipping delays everywhere in the world right now. The businesses at the end of the line are the businesses that are being punished. Whatever was done to the door frame was done someplace else. We did not do any work to the door frame, so if there were any scratches which appeared as if it were sanded, they were not made at our facility.

I expect to be told if there's a supply issue, not that everything is good and my car will be ready on a particular date then after that date passes to hear about some issue and to have that same thing repeated multiple times with different excuses each time. The communication with your customers is not on your suppliers, that's on your team. I'm not surprised that you would immediately deny responsibility without bothering to ask for pictures or contact me. It's at another shop and the insurance company can worry about whether or not your failure to correctly install the window caused the paint removal or if it was done with sand paper but the marks were not there when I dropped it off and they are inline with the corner of the window that hangs up on the door frame when opening or closing the door.
