Bought a car from them 2 years ago. Saw online that they were receiving In a car I was interested in and asked them to call me when it arrived. Was then told a similar car would be arriving in February, once again never heard from them. Went there a few weeks ago with interest in purchasing another one. After sitting there for over an hour I still wasn't able to get a price quote. Told the salesman I had to leave and he should call me with quote. Never heard from him. Left a message for the sales manager, Chad to call me and he never did either. Very disappointing and will not be recommending them. I will go elsewhere for another Mazda. More
I have bought three cars from these guys in the past and I always dealt with Chad who is pretty straightforward. I recently went in there and dealt with salesman Jim green? And mgr Dennis. With bad attitudes. Quoted me with tons of bogus fees I left. They followed up a few days later I said I had a better deal elsewhere. Jim tried to get me to buy something here instead. Long story short we finally got close to a number and he says he hast to run my credit and he will have an answer immediately. Two hours go by and he tells me they’ll do it tomorrow morning he never once told me he was off tomorrow which is today. He knew I already had another deal set up for today so if they were going to beat the deal they had to do it by today and he never once mentioned he was off. So I let him know I need to know what’s going on and that’s when I find out he was off today and I told him I was not very happy with that and the way they’ve been doing sneaky business. He tried to call me and I did not want to pick up so the answering machine picked up but he did not know it picked up and I can hear him talking crap about me saying very nasty unprofessional things. So I called the store and I was giving Dennis and he really did not seem like he was going to do anything about it and he also had a bit of an attitude with me like either take the deal or that’s it. I would not recommend these guys to anybody there is one good salesman left there and I don’t know his name. More

I purchased my first brand new Mazda CX-5 from Route 9 Mazda in 2014 and I went right back there when it was finally time for me to buy a new car yes I purchased my first brand new Mazda CX-5 from Route 9 Mazda in 2014 and I went right back there when it was finally time for me to buy a new car yesterday! This time I bought a CX-30! Randy was a complete and total joy to work with! He took the time to listen to what I needed in a vehicle and in the end, I purchased the perfect one! I was a little nervous about having to go into a dealership to buy a new car as I hadn't done so in almost a decade, but Randy put my mind at ease and made the process as painless and enjoyable as possible. He is such a very sweet and kind man who cares about his customers! He is extremely thorough and makes sure that you are satisfied with your decision before you walk out the door. The finance manager was incredible too! He gave me a great rate and was very detailed when explaining my purchase options. I highly recommend Route 9 Mazda to anyone in the market! They are amazing! When I was purchasing my CX-50 last month, I was shopping at almost all dealerships in the Tri-state area and I had the worst experience with this one. Ended up finally purchasing from a dealership much fart at almost all dealerships in the Tri-state area and I had the worst experience with this one. Ended up finally purchasing from a dealership much farther away but they had no hidden cost or any adjustments, and moreover they were super polite. I was put in touch with Vinny who was extremely rude and trying to put pressure to make the sale without answering most of my questions. After a LOT of insistence and pushing, I was finally given an out-the-door price. Each line item on the out-the-door price (e.g. car price, documentation fees, registration, titling, etc.) was given in separate emails and my simple request was to finally give me all the charges in one single email so that I had a document that I was going to pay a deposit against. It would have taken no more than 2 mins but instead I got a rude email from Vinny which said I am asking for too much. I was ready to place a deposit on the car but god am I glad I didn't as this would have just been the beginning of an unpleasant journey to finally also pick up the car upon delivery. All I was looking for a final piece of paper against which I could place the deposit finally! This dealership needs to understand that from a customer's point of view, we just want everything to be documented correctly and it doesnt take more than 2 mins to consolidate all information and put it on email. This dealership was just plain rude and arrogant, taking advantage of the current car shortage. All other dealerships I interacted with were much better. Moreover.... 2 weeks later I get an email again and was told now they are suddenly adding a charge of $995 for "Protecall" which is nothing but a dealership add-on that is just guff. Vinny told me on email, they started putting this add-on as a dealership mandatory policy from May 1st but he himself had given me an initial price without this add-on on May 2nd!! When I asked him about it on email, got a response that this will be charged now no matter what. These last minute shady tactics and the dealership not obliging to simple requests to put it all on paper convinced me to stay away from them and man did I dodge a bullet there. Also, I emailed the dealership's general manager and sales manager about this and they didn't even bother to respond. Again tells a lot about the dealership. I ended up going to a much better dealership where they were totally transparent about everything with NO crappy add-ons and market adjustments. All of us customers understand there is a shortage of vehicles right now. Dealerships that are still treating their customers with respect are gaining reputation for long term. More
We are EXTREMELY disappointed with this dealership. We currently own four Mazdas and recently owned a fifth. As others have noted their disappointment, this dealership is very sleazy. We live about two hours away, and agreed on a price over the phone for a slightly used salesman's car. Before we came down, the salesman said he needed an extra day because he wanted to do a 160 point inspection. This car had less than 5,000 miles on it, so the inspection should have been minor. When we went to pick up the car, they had added an additional charge on the Bill of Sale for $1,490 with no explanation listed. When questioned, they said that it was an extended warranty and inspection fee, which we did not agree on beforehand. No matter how much we disagreed, and after discussing this with Mazda Corporate, nothing was done about this charge. Mazda Corporate actually stopped taking our calls, unless we called from a different phone number. If you're even thinking about buying a car from this dealership, be EXTREMELY cautious. In my opinion, the Mazda brand is going downhill. I will never buy another Mazda. More
