I came here to rate Route 44 hyundai and the service I received while purchasing my new Santa Fe, when I saw the negative feedback below. I've dealt with route 44 hyundai for years and have never had or heard of anyone having any sort of bad experience. I've shopped the price they've given me on more than one of my purchases and not only is the service outstanding, but they always give me a price no one else is willing to match!!! Also, I noticed that all the dealers that subscribe to this rater membership are rated higher than the dealers who dont subscribe....doesn't that seem odd....... More

We used CarBargains.com. $200 gets For a car dealer Route 44 Hyundai is OK. We already had quotes from many dealers when we walked in to Route 44. We used CarBargains.com. $200 gets you several quotes from area dealers. It also gets you the invoice price for the car and all options. "Hyundai Dave" (& Sales Manager) finally agreed to a very reasonable price. It did take over a month to get the car we wanted but, in all fairness we had a specific color and options in mind. They once tried to get us to buy a car without the options we wanted but, that's sales. The customer service was very good and "Hyundai Dave" actually drove to our house (35 miles) to deliver our financing paperwork since we had to travel to Route 44 a few times. To compare, Pride Hyundai (Seekonk, MA) agreed to our quoted price (received from CarBargains.com - quoted by their Sales Manager) then refused to sell us the car with the options we wanted. All of this after more than 2 weeks waiting for the right color. We were even prepared to take the options at MSRP. But, Pride wanted to charge us 3 times the MSRP for the option package! So the lesson to all who read this is avoid Pride Hyundai at all costs! We also went to Fist Hyundai (North Attleboro, MA) and they wanted $200 below MSRP! How ridiculous! Additionally, we went to Tarbox Hyundai (Warwick, RI) and they apparently ..."do not want to sell you a car!". At least they told us right away and didn't waste our time. First Hyundai had us waiting for 45 mins. and tried to sell us a Sonata. To conclude, thank you to "Hyundai Dave" and the Sales Managers at Route 44 Hyundai. It was a long journey but we got the car we wanted at a great price and you lived up to your word. That is rare in the Car Sales business. By the way, we bought a 2011 Elantra. More

We had just been ready to start shopping around for a new car recently, and after doing research on makes and models, we sent out some quote requests on a 2011 Tucson to three local Hyundai dealers, with Rou car recently, and after doing research on makes and models, we sent out some quote requests on a 2011 Tucson to three local Hyundai dealers, with Route 44 being the closest as well as one a family member had bought from with a good experience. We got a quote over the phone and came down to put down a deposit and test drive. Although it wasn't in the color we originally wanted, the car we test drove was amazing and won us over. So, we went on to negotiate and then found out the quote was actually for a standard (we wanted automatic), but Dave pulled some strings and got us a wonderful deal under MSRP and managed to get us an accessories package (floor mats, cargo net and such) for no extra cost to make up for the misquote. The next day, we signed and the following Monday, we brought our new Tucson home! Ultimately, the experience was quite entertaining and painless. No nonsense, no sweet-talk, just straight-forward. Hyundai Dave is a joy to deal with and he has a knack for making you laugh, which really helps settle the nerves from the stress of car buying. More

This was the most pleasurable, easy experience I have ever had buying a new car, and I felt not only that I got a great deal, but there is a staff here that actually might care about making people feel good. As busy as they were- and it was extremely busy- I was taken care of an unhurried and dignified manner.
