I went to Rt 44 Hyundai after shopping around at several Hyundai Dealerships and found the car i was looking. My sales rep Dreux Carroll was very friendly and very knowledgable.He was able to take care of a Hyundai Dealerships and found the car i was looking. He sold me a brand new 2012 Elantra at a great price. I couldnt be more satified with my experience at Rt 44 Hyundai and with the professionalism displayed by Dreux and the rest of the staff, I would definitly reccomend Dreux and Rt 44 Hyundai to all my friends and family. My 1st new car experience was extremely satisfying thanks to Eric and Tony. They both exceeded my expectations in every way. I was so impressed with what they did for me in getting me in my new elantra that to Eric and Tony. They both exceeded my expectations in every way. They beat the price I received after emailing and visiting 4 other hyundai dealers. Even though I was looking for a very aggressive price they treated me like a king!! I went into Route 44 Hyundai today after having several terrible experiences at other Hyundai delaerships in my area. Alex greeted my husband and I outside and started what I thought would be the normal " terrible experiences at other Hyundai delaerships in my area. Alex greeted my husband and I outside and started what I thought would be the normal "salesman Game". I was pleasantly surprised to see that this was not what I would experience with Alex. He was a true pleasure to deal with. He answered my questions politely and professionally, he went at our pace and not his own. When it came to negotiating the price (my husbands role, not mine) he kept his professioanlism and treated my husband with a great deal of respect. After a short time of him talking tp the "boss" in the office he returned with Tony, the sales manager. Again i thought my husband and I were in for the "game", once again my husband and I were pleasantly surpised by the way Tony handled our wants. He went out of his way to show us what was what with the financing and pricing and we quickly came to an agreement at a price that my husband thought was well beyond a great deal. Route 44 Hyundai really changed our opinions on what a dealership can be. The other places we visited were a real horror show, but Alex, Tony, and the finance manager, Jimmy, really tried to earn our business in a professional and friendly manner and for that we commend them and will be telling everyone who asks about how great purchasing a vehicle can be at Route 44 Hyundai. Rt 44 Hyundai is a an awesome dealership..the staff was very professional and my sales rep Dreux was great, very polite and really knew stuff. He listened to what i wanted and got me a great deal on a bran very professional and my sales rep Dreux was great, very polite and really knew stuff. Probably the most enjoyable car buying experience i have ever had to be honest. Most dealership are filled with sales rep with all the lines and b.s. but i didnt get any of that. I was recommended to this dealership and fully planned on leaving with a vehicle that day. I was one paper away from signing for my pre-owned vehicle (the new Sonata on-line deal was misrepresented-they did leaving with a vehicle that day. I was one paper away from signing for my pre-owned vehicle (the new Sonata on-line deal was misrepresented-they did not have any Sonatas available for the pricing deal they promoted on-line and therefore they could not get me to the monthly payment I needed. Eric Barros was our salesman. He directed us to a pre-owned Sonata in the lot saying it had 25,000 miles on it and I test drove it. There was also a Sonata with 21,000 miles behind it that was more expensive due to "extras". They priced both vehicles for me. They were close on the 25,000 Sonata but not the other. We came to an agreement and I decided to purchase the vehicle. In my excitement to purchase the vehicle, I did not ask for a carfax and they did not offer one (later to find out the car had been in an accident). I had signed all the paperwork and came to the odometer disclosure which said 36,818 not 25,000!!! In shock, I said that it was wrong. Tony the "Sales Manager" came in and said the odometer disclosure was correct. We explained that we had been told more than once it was 25,000 miles and if it had been communicated that the car had 36,818, I would not have even test drove it. Tony had an aggressive attitude from the moment he walked into the office. He said his salesman never said 25,000 and said "you did test drive the vehicle, didn't you? you didn't look at the mileage?" Honestly, I did not. I never thought to. I just "trusted" in the salesman. He also said you signed the purchase and sale, which I did but unfortunately, the purchase and sale did not even have the purchase price on it, the form was not gone over with me at all, in fact the Salesman had said it was his early day and he left before I even started signing the paperwork. Then very unprofessionally, Tony called Eric on his cell phone and even passed the phone to me for me to hear Eric lie and say he never said 25,000. Maybe he made a mistake, which I feel is highly unlikely (good Salesman know their vehicles inside and out) but whatever the case may be, I did not appreciate Tony calling me a liar. I was very upset and then Tony began furiously writing void across all my paperwork and slamming each piece of paper as he did so. He also said it was a big waste of his time to which I replied this is your job!!! Who is going to reimburse us for our 4+ hours of time??? Since I was not going to purchase the vehicle for that amount of miles for the price originally agreed upon, and he was unwilling to do anything for me, they had to bring my car back from the garage (I had already completely cleaned it out and my plates were on the Sonata!). He never apologized, he was rude and unprofessional and I would never tell anyone to buy a vehicle there. They weren't even giving me a full tank of gas with the Sonata and while we waited all that time, the car was not detailed as promised. When I said something, Eric agreed to "owe" me a detail. Long story short, I went to Bernardi Hyundai in Brockton the very next day and purchased a brand new Sonata. I was treated with the upmost courtesy and professionalism. I also received delivery of my new Sonata with a full tank of gas!!! More
I had a great experience with Dreux. I needed a reliable car at a price in my budget and he was able to give me better than I had hoped for. I bought a 2009 Elantra below asking price and book value! This dealer jumped through hoops to find me the Sonota 2.0T that I wanted and offered massive slashes in the price just to make sure i was satisfied. I would never go back to this dealership again on my life.. He didn't seem to wanna work with my price range either, which was a shame because I was able to get the same exact car I wanted from metro at the same price dreux told me I would need more money.
