We went to Route 44 when looking to purchase a new car a little over a week ago. We stopped into Route 44 after car shopping all day in the area. On our way to another make & and model dealership down the street, my Husband suggested we look at the inventory at Route 44. Boy are we ever grateful we did. We placed a deposit at a dealership up the street just 2 hours earlier. A 2013 Sonata with 10,000+ miles on it we thought we got a great deal. We were so very wrong! Only after we met Chaz, did we realize we made a mistake at the other dealership. Chaz immediately showed us 2013 & 2014 Sonata models on the lot in the rain. Chaz explained in expert detail the differences between 2013 & 2014 Sonata models. Note: before shopping, we had decided on a "slightly" used certified vehicle. Once Chaz explained everything and, educated us, we were sad we put a deposit down elsewhere. After meeting Chaz, we were, excited at the prospect of what we could buy for a NEW vehicle, and disgusted that we came close to buying a far less vehicle for a lot of money. Chaz introduced us to Fred Bailey who gave us another positive, educated-buyer's point of view. Fred was not only extremely knowledgeable like Chaz, but because of both Chaz and Fred, we became better, educated consumers. To our delight, Fred and Chaz suggested taking a car overnight to test drive and look at all the options. We gladly did. That factor alone already told us we made a mistake at that "other" dealership. The "other dealership" gave us a 10 minute test drive on an over-priced used Sonata, spent 10 mins. with us in showroom, took a deposit and said they would call. Anyway we test drove and came back the next morning, had some more questions, and we are now the one week - proud owners of a beautiful 2014 Sonata SE. When we came back to sign all the paperwork, give our deposit, etc. I got personally picked up at the Middleboro-Lakeville train station by Chaz so I could take possession of the new car after work. Paul Benton in Finance went over every piece of paper we had to sign and was so professional, Educated and did a great job getting us into a great finance payment plan for which we are grateful. Chaz then spent the better part of one hour with me, the night i took my car home, explaining all the options the car came with, setting up my Bluetooth, telling me how to use many of the electronics that I would never have a clue about. Chaz also went so far as to ensure that i was aware of the safety features, etc. My husband and i both are in STRONG AGREEMENT that Everyone we worked with at the Route 44 Hyundai dealership were not only were professional, courteous, informative, kind, and honest, we could tell they actually cared about us as customer/clients. I have since received two emails from Chaz checking up on how we are doing. In a few words, the Rating system above of 1-5 - 5 IS NOT ENOUGH WE give everyone a 10+ Rating. In this fast-paced world, Route 44 Dealership Owners Should Personally Commend Chaz, Fred, Paul and their Employees. I called the "other" dealership that is refunding my deposit. Happy New Year to Route 44 Hyundai and to my family for having a safe, beautiful new car. We Personally Thank: Chaz, Fred and Paul Great Job Gentlemen. Nick in service is a complete jerk and should adjust his attitude and facial expressions when dealing with customers. I purchased my new car at Route 44 Hyundai because my husband had purchased his car here a couple years ago. Dave Esker was my salesman. Dave went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. Good dealership! They helped me out into a amazing almost new Honda i seen there beautiful car!. Jerry was really nice helped me out with no pressure at all. There was NO pressure generated at my initial visit with Charles just straight forwardness. What impressed me the most was his PROMISE to deliver and patience to show me "whatever" in the way of a vehicle. Charles just straight forwardness. My family owns 4 Hyundai's. We have also had 2 others. This by far was the worst car buying experience of my life from any dealership or car brand. Did I mention the very very worst Dealership in the world I've been to so far. I felt like I was being held hostage. The salesman lied hello they all lie just this Hyundai dealer is the worst. They promised to pay off my car they didn't, used my rebates for that. Promised that I would get the MPG reimbursement from my trade they kept that too. Promised my payments would be the same lied about that too. They talk sweet and lie through their teeth. Did I mention the worst car buying experience of my life. I've asked for the window sticker (Monroney Label) they won't even respond to that request. I have asked a half dozen times to 3 or 4 reps at a time at Route44 Hyundai. So after being held hostage (they won't give back your keys after checking your car) lied to over and over I can't give this dealership anything above a 1... More
When I bought this car(2007 Sonata) the sales manager and finance manager were awful to deal with and absolutely were dishonest. They both then titled the wrong vehicle to me causing me to have my bank refin finance manager were awful to deal with and absolutely were dishonest. They both then titled the wrong vehicle to me causing me to have my bank refinance the correct car costing me $125.00. The sales manager and finance manager both assured me that they would reimburse me but never did. We brought the car in for service of a Tire Inflation monitoring system and they proceeded to hold the car hostage for 3 hours while trying to beat my wife out of a $289.00 charge and when I spoke to him and told them not to install the part and give the car back to my wife he refused. Ultimately I had no choice but to pay a charge reduced to $189.00. More
My experience at Route44 Hyundai was very impressive. The sales person who took care of me, Dave Esker, was very professional and very tentative to my needs and what I wanted. Upon his first introduction Dave was really friendly, easy going, and direct to the point in a very genuine way. Unusual for most car sales men that I had dealt with up to this point. Dave made me feel like a valued customer and in the end purchased the vehicle from him mainly because of this as well as the great price on the vehicle. I must say even after the sale Dave was very insistent he would also be there for me if I had any issues. He showed this by giving his personal cell phone number and telling me to contact him directly first with any issues I might have. Very refreshing and again genuine. In the end if you are interested in a new Hyundai and are looking at getting a great price from a very nice dealership and from a First Class Salesman then Dave at Route 44 Hyundai is a must on your to go list. Dave will make the buying process very easy going, and stress free. I guess you can say enjoyable!! More
