New car purchase 11 years ago I bought a new Santa Fe from Derek Viveros and was extremely happy with the sale and service. A week ago I went in just to look at new cars, Derek had me work with Chad Sousa. Well I left there with a 2015 Santa Fe Sport!! Chad was a dream to work with. Very patient - I drove 4 test cars and I had a lot of questions. Everyone at this dealership from the telephone operator to parts/service to customer service are the best. Very well trained in making the customer feel comfortable, not rushed, not pushed into buying anything. John Shea was extremely accommodating when I came back for floor mats and Chad was not there. I have always recommended Route 44 Hyundai - but now as a repeat customer - I can't say enough good things about this dealership and their employees. More
Rebate for extended warranty settled quickly! I recently wrote a negative review for Rte. 44 Hyundai because I was having a difficult time contacting anyone about the rebate I applied for. Don't buy Extended Warranty! I bought a 2013 Elantra GT, new, from Rte 44 Hyundai. Sales & Service were a good experience. I purchased the Extended Warranty package that they fi I bought a 2013 Elantra GT, new, from Rte 44 Hyundai. Sales & Service were a good experience. I purchased the Extended Warranty package that they financed into my loan. 2 years later I needed to trade in my Elantra and was told I could get a pro-rated return on what I paid for the Extended Warranty. I went to Hyundai and filled out the paper work with their finance person, Tony. Two months and 3 phone calls later, I have not received any return on my payment nor can I get anyone to help me out with this. Previously I would have loved to buy another Hyundai from Rte. 44, but not any longer! Bad business practices! It can not be only one way guys!!!! More

Service for my.car has been a disaster I recently bought a car here and gave them a recent review and it could not have been a better experience and my review proved it. I have TRIED to ha I recently bought a car here and gave them a recent review and it could not have been a better experience and my review proved it. I have TRIED to have service done regarding headlights twice and it could not have been any worse. I bought a Santa Fe and explained my medical eye condition I have and was told they could get me better headlights that I requested to help... First they placed an order and I was told it would take 3-5 days to come in and after 10 days I decided to call because no one had advised me or updated me letting me know what was going on, I was finally told they came in that day and i asked for a Sat appt and was told they can't do that on a Saturday due to only certified techs being able to do it, after speaking to Patti who has always been helpful and professional with me she found a way to get it done that day but unfortunately I would have to leave work 4 hrs early but due to my eye situation I needed to get this done. I drove 35 miles from work to Hyundai and was waiting to get this done and after a few hours I was told the wrong ones were ordered and they could not put them in,which would of been helpful to figure out before I lost half a days pay at work . I was told they would order the correct ones and after talking to David was told they could set this up on a Saturday due to the inconvenience and they also took care of me with a gift which I respected and was willing to give them benefit of the doubt. Now comes scheduling this which no matter what i explained to the girl who was setting this up that they would not do Saturday which was upsetting because I had already gone through and was told they would and never did so I had to take a day off work to do it on a Monday,well a storm comes through and they somehow now got me a Saturday appt. I also brought my nephew with me because he was looking at buying a car and i mentioned the Velocitor and he was interested ,so we get there as soon as it opens and was told we would take care of this and wanted to make sure it wasnt the wrong ones again and was told it would take 1hr and 30 mins to do ,my nephew spoke to Fred about the Velocitor as we waited and after walking around and killing time for 4 HOURS and being incredibly frustrated was told at 12pm that my car was all set..I asked for paperwork and was told it would be mailed to me? I go to the car and noticed right away these were not the lights i was told and asked to speak to David but was told he was busy so then I was told to speak to Mike the Mngr - I explained to him my previous visit was a trainwreck and somehow this one was a disaster...I mentioned the light and at this moment he told me we couldn't use the lights we ordered and I was stunned that after 4 hrs not once did anyone tell me a single thing and i was told i was all set ,that it was the mngr who told me why i was sitting there for 4 hrs nothing was able to be done with the lights and it could have been taken care of in about 30 mins with just bulbs so I wasted another half day and in 2 visits I still did not get the headlights I was told I would get....buying a car was a nice experience but if i could give them a -5 rating on here for service I would, it is too bad after writing a great review for them for buying the car that I had to write one not equally but much worse- I hope someone from there reads this and hopefully gets in touch to make the situation better but until then the service has been beyond a DISASTER. And after this happening twice my nephew is now talking about not getting a car there after he was there and witnessed first hand how bad things went and would not be comfortable getting his own vehicle there...which is too bad because they would most likely have sold another car. And unfortunately I will still have my eye condition to deal with the lights I have but was hoping the brighter ones would have helped me. More
Older Santa Fe was done- on to the next one First I called to get my car checked and was told by Patricia to come in the morning and we will look into it...I went in at 7:30am and was greeted by First I called to get my car checked and was told by Patricia to come in the morning and we will look into it...I went in at 7:30am and was greeted by Patricia who was friendly and professional on explaining the scenario my old car was in regarding repairs and even went out of her way to get the tech working on my car to give me a detailed explanation about what was found and what could be done. After all the info was considered there was a possibility it might be better off looking at possibly getting a different Santa Fe,once again Patricia went out of her way and set me up with Fred to get someone to help me out and to this point all I can say is that Patti had been incredible and a pleasure to deal with. I then met Syed which I explained in detail my preference of what I wanted and he then showed me 3 cars in which I chose one that I liked ,in the mean time he set it up for me to take the car and drive it out and also at that time he got some information that was helpful to me once I got back. We went back and forth regarding numbers and I respected him as I also think he respected me for us both doing the best we could in making this works for him and I. We settled on the numbers and I then explained to Brad my situation with a medical condition I have with my eye and how I preferred to have the brighter lights as it helps in my driving at night and at this point i also very happy with Syed and Brad who agreed to accommodate me with this request. I then spoke to Brian in services and he was also helpful helping me find out which lights were the best for me and we then scheduled that to be taken care of. I then spoke to Tony who went over all the financial numbers with me and was very detailed about everything to make sure I understood it clearly. Before leaving I also got to meet Dale who set me up with some car gadgets and was very helpful also telling me what does what and how everything worked,he also in the process was also able to get a service tech in helping me remove all the stuff from my old Santa Fe to the new one as it was freezing and cold that night - it was now 7:30pm and I drove away extremely happy with my purchase and also thought everyone I had dealt with especially Patricia that it was a great experience and at that point Fred came by to congratulate me and I made sure to let him know how happy I was with Syed and Brad in my purchase that day.
