Final Price of Car Not Expected. I went into this dealership armed with a price that was quoted to me for a 2016 Elantra Value Edition from the business development office. I felt it I went into this dealership armed with a price that was quoted to me for a 2016 Elantra Value Edition from the business development office. I felt it was a good deal and looked up the trade in value of my car. I figured what I should have paid. I get in and spoke to Peter Charlebois and suddenly the price jumps almost $3,000. Not what I was expecting. I was told that the price quoted me included ALL rebates whether eligible for them or not. And then the trade was quoted $1,800 less than what the Black Book said which is what they used. I bought my first car there and did not have the hassle I had the 2nd time. I also have had my car completely serviced there and never had issues. Now you guys have completely lost my business because of pricing discrepancies. In response to Route 44 Hyundai. This is not true because even without the summer sales cash which was $500, the price would not have jumped that much. Also, I understand the trade in value is not exact but when my cousin trades in the same car with a broken axle and gets $2000 for it but I only get $1000 with a completely fine car serviced at your location. It is not right. Also, the car I looked at was $100 more. When I get an email with a price, and there is nothing on the email stating that states the price includes ALL rebates or does not include tax title, fees, etc. It is deceptive. In your eyes it is not but in the consumer's eyes it is. Especially when other dealerships disclose that information. I am sorry, but I do not believe that your response is a valid response and I am sticking to my guns on this one. You have officially lost 10 years of my business with you. More

I was a bit apprehensive at first seeing that my previous purchases at another dealership have been horrific to say the least. I needed to share my situation with ERIC and have him understand what im working with and the need to be in a cost effective reliable vehicle with a warrantee that would allow me to release the anxiety over owning a vehicle in a 4 season state where the weather can determine if you get to the doctors and work. The yoyo, fickle and gas guzzling days of possibly getting stuck in a winter storm in a very old used car ended as soon as I was diagnosed with a terminal illness and mom getting sick suddenly. ERIC BARROS and the RT 44 Hyundai team understood the desperation to be able to get from point A to point B in Safety and worked around the financial and credit challenges that seem to be forever present and put my family in a new vehicle that was essential to our family to rebuild credit and stay healthy and advance our quality of life.
