Will recommend this dealership (and I have) to ALL my friends. You have an exceptional team and are beyond qualified in all areas from greeting to sales,financial department,and services. Couldn't be happier with my new Santa Fe Sport. Have never been to a car dealer that is repeatedly getting positive and high marks from me. 2017 Elantra Purchase at Rt44 Hyundai, Raynham,MA My wife and I went to Rt44 Hyundai to buy a 2017 Elantra. We test drove a red car. We enjoyed the car but when we got back my wife said she preferred My wife and I went to Rt44 Hyundai to buy a 2017 Elantra. We test drove a red car. We enjoyed the car but when we got back my wife said she preferred the color black. The salesman searched but said they didn't have the exact car in black but had a similar unit, all that was different was it didn't have a sunroof and the seats were leather instead of cloth. Oh and it was more expensive. I questioned him 4 times "is everything else the same, same options" to which he replied yes 4 times. We agreed to take the car. When we picked the car up I noticed that the garage door opener option in the rearview mirror was missing. The salesman was at a lost to explain it. He missed it. I told him it was unacceptable, I wanted the garage door opener. I suggested that they could changing the rearview mirror as they were probably interchangeable. He said he would talk to the service manager and the general manager in the morning to see what could be done. By mid day the next day I hadn't heard from him so I called him. He said the service manager said the switch could not be done as the wiring was different. (I spent 35years as a manufacturing manager and I didn't believe him. That's not how assembly lines are run.) He told me the general manager said as compensation he would give me 2 years of free oil changes. This is not acceptable I wanted the garage door opener. They did nothing more to appease me. This is the third Hyundai I've bought from this dealer and I brought my daughter-in-law there to buy her Santa Fe. These are not honorable people. UPDATE: Received a call on Friday 3/10/17 from the salesman. He stated that they had a service tech that said he could add the rearview mirror option to the car. We brought the car in today 3/13/17 for them to look at our car. We brought the car in, they examined it and are ordering the part. They will call me when the part is in and they will install it. I will keep you posted on the progress. Looks like they may be honorable people after all. Update: 3/22/17 Called the salesman and learned the part had been received. Brought the car in and they added the garage door opener option to the car. I guess they are honorable people, they lived up to the terms of the sale that we agreed on. Thank you Rt 44 Hyundai. More
