Fantastic leasing experience from start to finish!!! Emailed a number of dealerships in a 25-mile radius on May 31st to see who can offer me a competitive lease deal on a 2017 Elantra Sport manual. Got a Emailed a number of dealerships in a 25-mile radius on May 31st to see who can offer me a competitive lease deal on a 2017 Elantra Sport manual. Got a response back from Rt44 Hyundai within minutes. Dave Johnson from the Internet Sales dept gave me all of the details (money factor, residual value, dealer discounts, manufacturer incentives, other rebates I might qualify for, monthly payment, total drive-off, etc.) I've asked for only after a couple email exchanges. Extremely forthcoming, unlike the other dealers who kept trying to get me to stop by before they'd start talking about numbers. Scheduled a test drive that afternoon. Worked with Peter Charlebois, who was extremely patient and thorough, about explaining all the little unique design touches, exterior/interior features, as well as techniques on driving a manual car safely and smoothly. Yes, this would be my first ever manual shift vehicle after 10 years of driving (and I did not know what I've been missing out before)..... Test drive went as well as it could've given my limited experience....I did stall the car a couple times but there was no flame or giant cloud of smoke, and we made it back to the dealership in one piece, whew......Peter was super calm the whole time, and gave constructive criticisms where deemed necessary, which I found extremely useful. Finally, numbers.....they were extremely competitive based on my research online at various different forums. They also did NOT try to play games by adding random fees or other useless dealer options. Needless to say I ended up closing the deal that night. The icing on the cake was that even the Finance Manager visit was, dare I say, a pleasant surprise! There was no pressure in trying to make me purchase any of the extended protection plans, ding shields, key replacement programs, etc. I was simply shown that they are available and all I had to say was "thank you but no thank you". It was literally the shortest Finance Manager visit I've ever experienced. On the day of the delivery, Peter again thoroughly went over every little detail about the car with me. A nice touch was that he was even carrying a microfiber cloth with him to wipe down panels and trim pieces he might have touched during the walk through process just to keep the car spotless and finger print free. The review is a little long, but I feel I've only covered about 40% of all the positive things I can say about my experience at Rt44 Hyundai. They are truly exceptional! I will definitely recommend them to any one of my family members and friends who might be shopping for a vehicle. More
