I bought a brand new Hyundai Accent in July 2005. In August of 2006 the transmission started giving me trouble. I sent it in for work and when I picked it up there was major damage done to the driver's August of 2006 the transmission started giving me trouble. I sent it in for work and when I picked it up there was major damage done to the driver's side door. They asked me if I brought it in like that, when I said no they told me to take the car and I should bring it back a few days later for repair. In that time (two days) the transmission continued to have the same problems and now I had a dent in my door to boot. After they repaired the door (and supposedly the transmission again) I was driving it home from work when the transmission dropped and the vehicle left me stranded during rush hour. They towed the car back to the dealership and a day later I got a call stating they could not fix the car and I needed a new one. The dealer then told me that I could take the new car for the price they were offering (which was too high) or wait more than a month for them to decide whether or not my one year old accent could be fixed. They refused to give me a rental in that time so, since I needed a working vehicle and felt as though they were putting me between a rock and a hard place as far as transportation went, I grudgingly accepted the offer (above even the MSRP). I drove it off the lot and none of the accessories were working (radio, interior lights, etc). It took me a day to figure out the fuse box myself so that I could get things working. The paperwork I filled out was outdated so I had to return to the dealership three weeks after purchase to fill out new paperwork for the loan and since they did not adjust the dates my first payment was two weeks late and I had to pay a late fee. They did, however, offer me floormats for my troubles if I gave them the survey blank. I did, took my floormats, and was glad to be rid of the ties that binded me to that dealership. I will never shop there again. More
The worst dealership ever. 2 years ago I bought a used car from them and decided to go back and trade it in and give them a second try. Found a car I liked, it was much more than I wanted to pay but they car from them and decided to go back and trade it in and give them a second try. Found a car I liked, it was much more than I wanted to pay but they assured me it was a better car. Problems with it less than 24 hours after driving off the lot. Said to bring it in and they will take care of it. Brought it in 4 days later, Service said that we needed an appointment to fix the problem, when sales said it would be taken care of then and there. Made an appointment 3 weeks later(the earliest available with out taking another day off from work). Got a nice email survey in the mail asking them to say how they did. Well I filled it out honestly and 2 days later got a call back from the sales guy. Asking me why I didn't call him directly since he was training the other guy. Told me to bring the car in and they would take care of it and give us a loaner. Did just that but when they finally looked at the car, they accused us of the problem and we had to pay to fix it. Needless to say that less than 24 hours after the problem was "fixed" it started happening again- refuse to bring it back. Dealing with Finance is no better- purchased an extended warranty on the used vehicle at the time of purchase because they told me I wouldn't be able to purchase it at a later date. Well that was a lie, cancelled the warranty and have called for the last three weeks trying to figure out where my refund is. Also lied about the true savings with lo-jack. NEVER return my phone calls-The whole dealership is nothing but liars! I would never do business with them again. More
It took us a week to finally get the car after we bought it. It took us 2 weeks to finally get to the price where we agreed on. When we received the car from them the cup holder was broken which we asked th it. It took us 2 weeks to finally get to the price where we agreed on. When we received the car from them the cup holder was broken which we asked them to fix for us prior, which they agreed upon. Also, they did not give us a spare key... we had to actually go to the owner and beg for one. They said it was $100 extra and they couldn't pay that. The key we got with the car was held together with scotch tape, mind you. The unlock/lock and alarm button was cracked so that didn't work. The people are nice, but much like all car salesman they feed you quick lines. I don't think this was a very trustworthy dealership.<br> More
