This is probably the worst dealership I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with in my entire life! I leased a Nissan Maxima from them when it was newly redesigned in 2016. It was the worst experience t displeasure of dealing with in my entire life! I leased a Nissan Maxima from them when it was newly redesigned in 2016. It was the worst experience that I've had. First and foremost: Buyers Beware! They add everything from pinstriping, mud flaps, door edge guards, etc. to each vehicle before purchase whether you want it or not, simply just to jack up the price of the vehicle; and the prices of these things are astronomically high! Secondly, I dealt with a salesman named Chris (can't remember his last name) who was so bad that I've come to learned he was since fired and I am honestly not surprised in the least bit. He was extremely pushy and aggressive. He wanted me to do a deal he wanted me to do so as to pad his pockets with a bigger commission, rather than seeing that I left there a happy customer. He was obnoxious, belligerent, rude, unknowledgeable, and a liar. I knew more about the car that I was purchasing than he did. It got to the point where I had to ask him to lower his voice because I was starting to get pretty annoyed and my patience was wearing thin. That's besides other customers looking over at us because of his loudness. This dude was a character to say the least. I never wish bad upon anyone because everyone needs to eat and support themselves and their families, but if what I found out was true, and he did get let go, it was a smart decision on behalf of the dealership. See I've been leasing vehicle after vehicle since 2004, and have dealt with multiple makes and dealers such as Honda, Hyundai, Toyota and Nissan. Needless to say, I've dealt with a dozen or so salesmen and I can confidently say that this guy was by far the worst I have ever dealt with. If I didn't want the vehicle so badly and if the dealership wasn't only a few minutes from my home I would've went somewhere else. Nevertheless, for the sake of convenience I didn't. I'm also embarrassed to say that I originally left a scathing, but honest online review here and on Google reviews but took them down after being bribed by management via phone calls. Needless to say I gave up my integrity for what amounted to almost $100 in gift cards. Visa and Applebee's gift cards to be precise. So YES EVERYONE, IT IS TRUE. MOST OF THE REVIEWS ON HERE THAT ARE POSITIVE ARE BECAUSE THE DEALER BRIBES YOU WITH GIFTS SUCH AS GIFT CARDS, ETC. It's been many years since I bought a car from them and when I turned it in I swore never to buy a vehicle from them again. I have since kept over 6 people from going there and have convinced them to go to Honda and Toyota instead, in which they actually did and had great buying experiences. No doubt there are a few decent, humble salespeople at this dealership but Chris was no doubt not one of them and good riddance to him. I feel sorry for any car dealership that hires him unless he shapes up. Hopefully management smartened up and started hiring some passionate, genuinely friendly people. I have not been to this dealership again and next time I decide to get into a new Nissan it will be elsewhere. In conclusion, if you are a prospective customer that is reading this, please do not be fooled by the many fake reviews. Even my original one was one of them. Don't hate me for wanting to be monetarily compensated after having such a horrible car buying experience. Can you really blame me? I absolutely loved the Maxima and would recommend it to anyone by the way! There's a reason, however, that this dealership has a terrible reputation locally. Word of mouth in my opinion is more damaging than the reviews because then you cut off a huge portion of your local customer base and have to rely on people traveling from out of town. That in itself is a tossup because there are other Nissan dealerships near other towns. When word of mouth spreads from people you personally know and trust, it doesn't matter how many good (fake) reviews you have online! I call on the owners and management at Rt. 33 Nissan to weed out the uber-aggressive salespeople who care more about the money than doing their actual job before they lose more customers. After all, change starts at the top. More
