I had went to Route 22 Honda about leasing a brand new Honda Accord, in Polished metal metalic with a V6 engine. The salesman whose name was Pedro had given me the pricing for this vehicle for the most ba Honda Accord, in Polished metal metalic with a V6 engine. The salesman whose name was Pedro had given me the pricing for this vehicle for the most basic model. Throught the entire conversation I had expressed the fact that the vechile had to be V6. He said that it would cost me $350 a month for a 42 month term. After much negoting we had settled on this price, he expressed that it was a special deal based on the fact that my mother had purchased a Honda Fit with him also that night. Once we filled out all the paperwork for this V6 Grey new Honda Accord I then had my father sign the papers because the vehicle was under his name. It was then around 10:30 when we went outside to see a Belize Blue Pearl Honda Accord. I immediatly said to him that this wasnt the color that I had asked for and I didnt want that color. He then kept saying "Im sorry man, I must have put down the wrong color code but its such a hot color etc etc, I then decided just to take the vehicle because the color wasnt terrible. I then had also had the assurance from him that the vechile the wrong color was still a V6 engine, he assured me of this over and over. 3 weeks later I was at work and was talking to a few co-workers talking about my car and the had told me that it was not a V6 car. I instantly had checked on this and then found out that it wasnt a V6 it was a V4. Not only did they give me the wrong color but all together they gave me the wrong car. I am insured under a V6 car and am paying the lease price for a V6. I had called the dealership on monday telling them my problem and was assured that someone would call me back,it is now thursday and nobody did. I went into the dealership they told me there is nothing i could do or nothing they could do, they basically refused to help me telling me its not their problem and the seller denied ever having any disgussion abouta V6 vehicle. So basically I got screwed on having to pay more for this car because im paying for a V6 when in reality its a V4, They are sooooo dishonest dont even waste your time or money going here. OH and hope you have alot of time on your hands because we got to the dealership at 5pm and didnt get out till 10:30 at night becuase the paperwork took more then 5 hours for them to do. I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANY ONE More
When discussing the options with the salesman for a new lease, I was told that the vehicle had Bluetooth. It was the first question I had as it was the biggest thing for me. We then sat down, and discussed lease, I was told that the vehicle had Bluetooth. It was the first question I had as it was the biggest thing for me. We then sat down, and discussed numbers based on the options they told me the vehicle had. After we agreed on the number based on the way the vehicle was described, and the contracts were signed and money was paid, the vehicle was washed and brought around for us to leave. As I'm getting in the car, he (The salesman) told me "I messed up, the vehicle doesn't have Bluetooth." It was Saturday night and the parts department was closed, so we agreed that Monday morning he would call the parts department and order the parts needed to have the Bluetooth option installed. I had to call 3-4 times a day as the salesman never called me. I finally went in on Wednesday night and spoke to the manager, only to find out that the salesman never checked about the part nor did he even speak to anyone, and the manager tells me it's too late, the money was already funded. The only thing they offered was to have a aftermarket product installed and they wouldn't split the cost. They would not alter my payments either. They told me that the only vehicle that had Bluetooth (Factory) was the next model up, which I said I would accept a swap and pay the higher payment, but they were asking $100 more per month over other dealerships. The salesman and the manager I dealt with were both nasty and unhelpful and I was told "I don't want to hear another word about the BBB!" and "If you wanna bump heads, I got the hardest head." "We can't take the car back and you are stuck with it" All I wanted was to be put into the next model up which has the option I wanted, and I would pay the fair value, not $100 more. What are my options? It seems the salesman delayed the first couple of days to have the money funded so I can't get out. The vehicle is not what I negotiated. Why should I pay for someone else's mistake? More
I called about 20 dealers and these guys gave me the best price quote over the phone for the car i was looking for. When i got there i was not greeted by the person who was suppose to meet with me inspite of price quote over the phone for the car i was looking for. When i got there i was not greeted by the person who was suppose to meet with me inspite of making an appointment with him. Right away came the bait and switch. They said they just sold the car i was inquireing about and offered me a different color, the only reason i was still there was because of the price quote. I saw and test drove the car and agreed to buy it, after about 90 mins waiting the sales rep came back with a work sheet with an inflated price and it wasnt even itemized. Threaten them to walk if this issue wasnt resolved sale rep returned with itemized work sheet charging for extras i didnt order. Waited 60 mins for this issue to be resolved then only after i signed the work sheet and signed over my trade in they changed the intrest rate on me. After about 6 hours i finally drove away with the car but had to return my registration documents and side body molding that i had ordered. Took the car in for the side body molding and 60mins later they returned my car with the work done 20 miles extra and reeking of cigarette stench. This has by far been the worst experience i've had with a new car dealer, i would not recomend this dealer to anybody i know. More
route 22 honda lured me to their location by quoting a good price for a 2006 honda over the phone. after i got there and took a test drive, they kept me waiting for 1-2 hours while they prepared the pa good price for a 2006 honda over the phone. after i got there and took a test drive, they kept me waiting for 1-2 hours while they prepared the paper work to buy the car. when i looked at the paperwork, surprise! first, they jacked up the price that they initially quoted by $500, and then they added a $500 undercoating fee. when i refused to pay the undercoating, they backed off and wouldn't sell me the car at the price they quoted. so i walked out. this dealership exemplifies the worst behavior of selling cars: "bait-and-switch", undercoat shakedown to increase profits, force the customer to invest time so that they are more likely to compromise etc. etc. More
Was advised over the phone that this dealership offered Costco member pricing on the Honda fit sport. when I arrived i was treated well - offered coffee and refreshments and a test drive. but then it all Costco member pricing on the Honda fit sport. when I arrived i was treated well - offered coffee and refreshments and a test drive. but then it all changed. I had a loan but the dealer wanted to get me a better rate. They made me wait ONE hour while they did this.. came back with no firm info the rate but the car had a high price and they didn't have the Costco price sheet! they said the Costco specialist wasn't there. but shakira said she was the specialist. i drove an hour out to this place for this price. then they added all kinds of extras onto the car. my son and i walked out. this dealer also added $444.00 on for window etching. i said i didn't want it. she said you have to have it. gee. then had to NERVE to overcharge me on state license fee. when i said hey you are over by 125 dollars - she said oh we will refund that later. Hello? they also added on dealers fee. She thought she was doing me a favor by selling me the car for MSRP. because the FIT is hot. then she had the nerve to complain about all the work she did when we were leaving. i hope i can get the FIT sport at a reasonable price. if not it will be their loss. i don't think people have the money or energy to play these games anymore. When the dealer called me the next day to say how the fit is no longer available at reduced rates, i referred him to this site where he could see all his happy customers. More
I bought a 2005 Honda CR-V from this dealer. Orderred it with a CR-V factory alarm. Picked up the car first without it installed and sales told me to bring it back to Services to have it installed. After with a CR-V factory alarm. Picked up the car first without it installed and sales told me to bring it back to Services to have it installed. After it's installed, they gave me a seperate remote for the alarm. I was told not to use the keyless entry buttons nicely built-in to the key, I can only use new remote for alarm. Sales said that's how it is. I found out later that it's not a factory alarm they put in, it's a aftermarket alarm Checkmate installed, I believe it's cheaper. Now I always have to carry another remote, can not touch the buttons on the key, because "alarm will be confused". Do not buy from this dealer, because they will screw you. More
