Let me just say that I am not your typical sales situation. I went in knowing I had a difficult situation about my credit and that other dealerships didn't even want to work with me because of this. situation. I went in knowing I had a difficult situation about my credit and that other dealerships didn't even want to work with me because of this. I have been extremely loyal to Honda throughout the years and have had 4 Hondas so far and I love them all. It's simply just a great car that you can always depend on no matter what. I thought this loyalty with Honda would help out with getting a new lease to replace the lease I was currently in that was 4 months away from expiring but Planet Honda in Union, NJ (whom I had leased the 4 Hondas from before) didn't even want to be bothered and I even attempted looking at a Hyundai at Brad Benson Hyundai in South Brunswick, NJ and they flat out told "you will never drive a new car again!". All of this was very disappointing and also stressful because I need my car and I am trying to fix my credit from recent difficult situations I have been going through in my life. I didn't expect to be given the $159 per/mo payment being advertised, but I expected some compassion and help. That's where Gio R. at Route 22 Honda comes in. He sat with me and took the time to figure out what we could do. He was so patient, funny, and realistic. He didn't try to sugar coat the situation and let me know what I was dealing with. After all the waiting due to American Honda Finance and settling on a payment I was comfortable with, Gio got me into my brand new Honda Accord, EX! I'm so happy because someone actually took the time out to listen and help me, not just look at me like I was a lost cause. I definitely am going to be sending anyone and everyone to Route 22 Honda because they are the true definition of what a dealership should be. Literally no gimmicks, low prices, great customer service and I got 2 years free service on my car. I'm definitely team Route 22 Honda now. I would also like to thank Willie and Joel M. who were extremely courteous, helpful, and just positive throughout the whole process. With Gio included, you guys are definitely the Dream Team.
