I was torn between buying out my lease or buying a used car. I found a nice Altima online for a decent price. When I called the dealership they confirmed the price, and when I went to the dealership I me car. I found a nice Altima online for a decent price. When I called the dealership they confirmed the price, and when I went to the dealership I met J.R. Not long after I arrived at the dealership I could tell that J.R. was a good salesman. He was one of the nicest people I've ever worked with, and he was a straight shooter, no gimmicks. He stayed true to the price, and was very patient with me. Throughout the deal I began working with Richard, from finance. He was also a very nice, honest guy. At one point he told me one interest rate, but after a few additional minutes of searching he found a lower one which saved me a few extra dollars a month. This stood out as great service. Finally they delivered my car to me when I couldn't get back to the dealership. J.R. also went the extra mile to make sure that my CDs and steering wheel cover from my old car were in my new car. J.R. followed up with me several times after I left the dealership to confirm my deliver date and time, and answer any follow up questions I had. THIS WAS A GREAT DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE. J.R. I purchased a Certified Xterra early in December. I took a loan out and payed for the vehicle in total. After I left the dealership, it was out of sight and out of mind. This was a problem because our busin a loan out and payed for the vehicle in total. After I left the dealership, it was out of sight and out of mind. This was a problem because our business was not complete. I am not a resident of NJ so I had to have Medowlands take care of the registration and mail it to me. I had a Temporary (20 day) Out of State Registration on my vehicle while I wait for this process. The cost of the registration was over $100. I was aware of this before I left the dealership. I was not aware of the fact that it was going to take as long as it did, and I would be forced to pay for overnight shipping. They contacted me 2 days before Christmas, if I would have done regular mail, I would have been out of registration. Also, they mailed me my EZ Pass that I had left in my car that I traded in. They had to wrap it in "Special EZ Pass Foil" (Yes, those are his words exactly). When I received the package, I learned that the "special foil" I paid $5 for them to wrap my EZ Pass was just plain aluminum foil. Also, the registration did not include the sticker I need to put on my license plate. I tried calling them 6 times since then and got no assistance. The first few times I called, I tried to get a hold of the person who shipped my package. They informed me that he had left for the day and I should try back tomorrow. When I called back for that person, he told me I needed a different department and placed me in queue for their phone. No one answered. The next time I called, I was told I needed to speak with the person who deals with out of state tags, and she was not in. My name and number was forwarded to her and I was told I would receive a call from her the next day. I didn't receive a call the next day. In fact, when I called the following day, the receptionist had no idea who I was trying to ask for. I asked for a manager and he was with a customer. Again, I gave my name and number and waited for a call back. Again, no callback. I am left with no choice but to pay for another sticker. Although I was happy with the service I received up to buying the vehicle, I am very dissatisfied with the service I received after. More
