Absolutely awful experience with this dealership! !! My husband spoke to Vincent on Wednesday 4/26 about a used car they had for sale and my husband said he wanted to put a deposit on it but couldn' !! Vincent advised that a deposit wasn't necessary because there had not been any "action" on the car. My husband said that he didn't want them to sell the car to someone else and "Vinny" assured him that they wouldn't. On Thursday, 4/27, my husband called again to discuss the price of the car and to put a deposit on it because we decided we definitely wanted to buy it for our son as a graduation gift from BOOT CAMP in two weeks. He spoke with Sara and after a few calls back and forth, they agreed on a purchase price over the phone and set an appointment to sign and pick up the car on Saturday, 4/29. Sarah advised us (we were both on the call) that she would put a for sale sign on it and to ask for her when we came in Saturday at 3:30. Today, 4/28, my husband received a voicemail from "Vinny" saying that a deal was being made in the showroom at the same time we were on the phone making the deal with Sara and the vehicle was sold to someone else!!! We do not believe that to be true because the girl who answers the phone at the dealership said that the vehicle was sold "last night" and we made the deal with Sara in the early afternoon! To say a deal was stolen from us and Sara is an understatement and her associate should be ashamed of his immoral behavior!! Not to mention, that's what you do to someone who is in training to fight for our country!!!!!! Absolutely unprofessional and a true showing of a snake in the grass! I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB AND THE AG TODAY!! More
My experience with this dealership is as follows: - 2/28 - Agreed to buy a 2023 Honda Pilot and put down $2k deposit on it. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks and that I could expect to have it by mid to late April. The salesman (Conor) told me he would keep in touch with me weekly/biweekly on the status of the car. He told me he had only worked there for 3 months so I was a little confused why he was assigned to me rather than a more experienced salesman, considering that I was buying the most expensive vehicle they stock. I asked him at least 3 different times if my deposit was refundable and his response each time was “yes, it is illegal for us to keep a deposit.” - 3/29 (Wednesday) - I hadn’t heard from Conor so I texted him and asked him for an update. He told me their computer systems were down and that he would get back to me by EOD. - 4/3 (Monday) - I hadn’t heard back from Conor so I texted him again. - 4/4 (Tuesday) - still no response from Conor so I called the dealership, at which point there is some fumbling around and I am eventually told that Conor has left the company. I am then transferred to another salesman, Caesar, who tells me he is the “new sales guy”. He proceeds to ask me for my information, puts me on hold and then comes back and asks me multiple times what the model, trim and color are that I am buying. He then tells me that we are still 6-8 weeks out, so we have essentially made no progress in the past month plus. - I got off the phone with him and was able to find the same model available at Herb Chambers Honda in Burlington. I called Caesar back and told him I wanted my deposit back, and he told me he didn’t think that was possible, that he needed to talk to his manager and he would get back to me. - 4/5 (Wednesday) - I spoke to the sales manager around 6pm and he told me that the people in finance had gone home for the day but that he would have someone call me the next day to get me my deposit back. - 4/6 - 4/11 - I have called numerous times every day and have never been able to get anyone in finance on the phone. The receptionist always makes up a story about where they are and tells me she will try to connect me with someone, at which point I get their voicemail and never get a call back. - 4/11 (Wednesday) - I called and told them that if I wasn’t contacted before the end of the day and sent my money back, I would be pursuing legal action against them and posting reviews for them anywhere that I was able to so that nobody else has to go through the same thing I have with them. - 4/24 - My credit card company refunded my money after receiving no response from the dealership. In summary - stay away. More
My wife and I traveled from New Hampshire to Route 128 Honda to see a pre-owned automobile I found on Autotrader. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Cesar who was new to the dealership....it was his first day Honda to see a pre-owned automobile I found on Autotrader. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Cesar who was new to the dealership....it was his first day. He eagerly showed us the car including a test drive. I had completely researched the car and had a top-dollar I was willing to pay before going in. Cesar was delightful and endearing to the point that my wife encourage me to pay $500 more for the car than my original top-end price. Overall, it was a good experience working with Cesar to complete the sale. Notwithstanding the fact that it was a busy Saturday afternoon, my only complaint is the amount of time required to complete the transaction since I was a cash buyer. I suppose that is normal these days. Since I only purchase a car every 5-7 years, this does not prevent me from giving Cesar and all the staff involve (John, Dan, Chad, and others) in this sale a hearty 5 stars. More
This was my first dealings with 128 Honda. I was there for a recall and asked them to check my tire pressure which they did do. To my surprise they also washed my car. Had a great experience with Rob at 128 Honda purchasing a used Honda. He went out of his way to be helpful and available for questions.
