Chuck- several phone calls to clarify this with a manager (you?) and my salesperson at your dealership are precisely what led to my realization that I wasn't confused, I was just being taken for a ride. Further phone calls are now unnecessary. In this case, I attempted to finalize a purchase at the price given to me, and you refused after raising the vehicle price. In my review, I stated facts for other customers to consider, not just opinions. As a careful consumer, I research reviews and testing done by third parties and on websites such as this to formulate a well-informed understanding of products and businesses. Legitimate negative reviews, especially those which state facts, are an important warning for consumers to consider when looking to purchase goods, especially one as large as a vehicle.

Jacob, I understand your frustration, especially given the fluid nature of the current automobile market. Unfortunately, terms are dictated by supply and demand, and pricing for high-demand vehicles fluctuates according to available inventory. We make every attempt to come to terms when customers, like yourself, are in the showroom looking at the vehicle they want. We do not believe in high-pressure sales tactics, however, so when a customer informs us that they want to take some time to think it over, we respect that decision. We tried to explain to the customer that he purchased the vehicle at a different dealership and his free oil change was free from that dealership. He was argumentative with the service advisor who then brought me into the picture I tried to explain to him the situation I did not raise my voice until he continued to raise his. We absolutely do not treat customers in the manner this customer described if he had handled himself differently we would have worked it out with him.

Completely wrong!!! I had the same situation with the my previous car and it was honored. Even the site when I booked the appointment it showed it was free. When I mentioned that he tells me well maybe with the previous dealer that was here or maybe there is a mistake on the site. We are now different dealer so you go to your old dealer and get that free. It is $70 which nothing worth for me but the problem I had was the attitude of the agent and the manager. If the manager was acting like that then of course I don’t expect anything less from the agent. They came out of the room in an offensive attitude that is beyond anything I’ve seen. It is unfortunate of that business and Honda as well. As I mentioned even other customers shared their view as well after they all saw what happened. I absolutely think the staff needs some customer service training if Honda wants to keep its brand floating.
