I switched from an Accord lease to a 36-month CR-V lease and feel like I received a fair deal. Since I had shopped around, the negotiating process, which I always dread, was kept to a minimum. My lease is a true "sign and drive," with no fees up front and the first month paid by the dealer. I realize these costs are worked into the monthly payment, but it was nice to have the registration, new plates, and inspection handled by the dealer so that I could turn in my old car and drive away in a new one in less than two hours.
