I purchased a new hyundai veracruz on a Friday night from Brad Benson. I woke up Saturday morning and the car would not start. I jumped the car, drove around for 1 h, and then watched TV for a few hours. When I tried to start the car again (ca. 2 h later), it would not start. I called the dealer (remember, I bought a brand new car from them less than 18 h ago) and they said bring it in Monday and we will see what we can do. They couldn't even look at it on Sat. I then asked if I could get a loaner car on Monday so that I didn't have to miss work and they said no! What a great way to treat a customer, I will never go back! More
Stay away! They are liars!!! They ask you how much would you like to pay for the vehicle. Write it down on paper. 1 hour later they tell you they can't honor the price. This seems to be the same sales pit you like to pay for the vehicle. Write it down on paper. 1 hour later they tell you they can't honor the price. This seems to be the same sales pitch at Freehold Hyundai. It was the worst experience I ever had at a auto dealership. Save youself time and buy a Honda. It's a better product and cheaper. Don't belive the 30% off. They add 4-5000 dollars of bullshit items and then take off 30% of this bogus number. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. STAY AWAY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Leon is the definition of a SLEEZY SALESMEN. More
These people are Thieves. I was trading in a 2003 BMW 330i, I gave them the keys to test drive it. While negotiating a new car. During the whole negotiating process they would not give me back my keys. 330i, I gave them the keys to test drive it. While negotiating a new car. During the whole negotiating process they would not give me back my keys. They came up with lame excuses that it was locked in the managers office because he stepped out. Wendell Solomon my salesman is a sleazeball he treated me like shit after I requested another sales man because he kept on needling me to purchase a car so he can feed his "family" I finally walked out and demanded my keys they would not give it to me. To make a long story short I had to call the police and guess what the manager magically came out with the keys once they arrived. During the process 1. They would not work with out the door price 2. Lied about my credit score 3. Only worked on monthly payments 4. Very Rude behavior 5. Severely tried to rip me off way over MSRP on the lancer 6. Would not let me leave! More
The 30% off is a joke. I went to look at a Tiburon. I checked out the dealer-added sticker on the side. They add in extras like pin-striping and write "$ INCLUDED" next to the item(s) added. Then at the checked out the dealer-added sticker on the side. They add in extras like pin-striping and write "$ INCLUDED" next to the item(s) added. Then at the bottom, all these supposedly included items (4 were listed on the Tiburon) added up to nearly $4,000! Why the hell would someone pay that? That's where the 30% off comes from - b.s. dealer extras. LISTEN: A pin-striping kit bought at Walmart costs like $50. You could pay someone who knows what they're doing and it'll only take an hour's worth of labor. If you paid that person $50 to do it, you'd be giving them a generous $100. And places like Brad Benson Hyundai and Global Auto Mall want to charge nearly $1,000 to do it!!! RIDICULOUS!!! BEFORE SHOPPING, CHECK OUT CARBUYINGTIPS[DOT]COM and FIGHTINGCHANCE[DOT]COM. Do your homework. Avoid places like this at all costs. I went to Lester Glenn and had a much easier time of it. Bought a car there last night and got it for $150 over invoice. More
They like to do something called "Spot Delivery". They lie and try to force you into a contract or car that does not suit your needs. I literally had to show up leave the keys and walk o Delivery". They lie and try to force you into a contract or car that does not suit your needs. I literally had to show up leave the keys and walk out (after having the car for 2 days)--because they tried to raise prices, omit things they had originally promised (like gap insurance), so since they re-nigged on their side, I wanted to bring the car back----They said I couldnt. So out of fear, I recorded the whole thing on tape (the milage on the car, the condition of the car and the returning of the keys) just so that they couldnt try to get slick and pull a fast one on me and switch the story. Check out the video of the returning of the keys on Youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=jMu9HSsYF9E You can also get more information at: www.lemonlaw.com/spotdelivery.html More
A problem from the beginning. Went because of the 30% discount but they bump up the sticker price and then take 30% off of that. Not really 30% at all. hey try to put me in a car I did not want because t discount but they bump up the sticker price and then take 30% off of that. Not really 30% at all. hey try to put me in a car I did not want because they said they did not have one in stock, then while walking the lot myself I found exactly what I wanted but then came the fight for the price. Then they try to get you in the financing. They have allthese splashy commercials on the radio but no one inthe dealership knows the content or what they are supposed to be doing. It is horrible. The next day I called because they gave me a car with a missing option (that is standard on all Santa Fe's) and they told me "oh well some have it, some don't) The salesman told me I shold just b happy with my deal and deal with it. Why was I so miserable since others with worse deals are deliriously happy. Terrbile place. I drove 100 miles out of may way because of their so called deals and I regret it completely! More
Horrible. Went there because they have that 30% off sale and it was like pullin teeth tryin to get them to actually get the 30%. Then they undervalue the trade in to make up for it. They put the wrong infor and it was like pullin teeth tryin to get them to actually get the 30%. Then they undervalue the trade in to make up for it. They put the wrong information on the sales agreement to make it look like theyre taking less off. Then you only know if you're paying the right amount if you did the figures beforehand. They all say it doesn't matter, but it's a lie. Luckily I knew what I should be paying. Then, like all dealerships, they try to give you financing that's too high and after threatening to leave they finally lower the rate. Just get your own beforehand. Took threatening to walk out 4 times to get all the papers signed but they didn't have the extra key. Took 3 weeks to get the key we shouldve had the next day. Then it them almost two months to pay off my trade in which makes the credit report look bad if you don't have auto withdrawal because you're saying it's paid off and the banks tellin you no. Luckily I had the auto withdrawal and then the dealership had to pay me back 2 payments which took numerous calls to management who never call back. And unfortunately the only way to get anywhere with them is to be as much of an ass as they were. Summary: the dealership sucks. If its all you can afford. Have all your ducks in a row first (financing, values, and such) and then go shopping early in the day on a full stomach because it'll be a while! But I'm buying used next time. More
Brad Benson has many financial problems and uses people's trade in vehicles to finance his business. I traded in a vehicle and expected them to pay off the bank loan on the vehicle in full which is the commo trade in vehicles to finance his business. I traded in a vehicle and expected them to pay off the bank loan on the vehicle in full which is the common practice of most dealers. But, surprise, surprise, the loan on my trade-in vehicle was not paid off for months resulting in additional charges to me and a lowering OF MY CREDIT!!! BEWARE OF THEIR SALES FORM WHICH INCLUDES A CLAUSE THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM SUING THEM. Believe me-you will be sorry if you give up that right to this dealer. More
They are frauds. They will ask you for the amount you can finance and your trade before showing you anything - do not tell them any value as they will hike up their car values to fit their profit and under-v finance and your trade before showing you anything - do not tell them any value as they will hike up their car values to fit their profit and under-value your trade. They promise you stuff which they will never do and will not give it in writing. They will talk to you as your well-wishers wanting to have a relationship with you but are actually screwing you. They will be nice while you are in the buying process - as soon as you have signed the papers, they will be rude, less informative - just plain jerks. All they are looking for is how to FLEECE the customer the most. 1 is the minimum rating here - else a 0 is more appropriate.

Their service department is also over-priced and does not do a good job of repairs. They may tell you that repairs are done but a month or two later, the same problem will re-appear. They will also tell you to do unnecessary repairs that are not required.

DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR - NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER. More
