Taking care! My mother, a recent widow was unable to drive the 2013 Chrysler 300 that my father left behind. She is arthritic with limited arm strength and the 30 My mother, a recent widow was unable to drive the 2013 Chrysler 300 that my father left behind. She is arthritic with limited arm strength and the 300 being such a large car was too much for her to handle. We thought it made sense to return to the dealer from which my father purchased the car to request a trade of equal or lesser value. We explained the situation and they suggested she test drive a 2015 Chrysler 200. Every detail of the 200 was perfect for her: steering, gear shifting, maneuvering she wanted that car! Unfortunately, the dealer was not willing to work with her regarding the trade in value of the 300 with only 16,700 miles on it and they wanted her to come up with an unreasonable amount of money to get into the 200. We left the dealer very disappointed and angry, (my father had purchased 3 cars from that particular dealer). The following day after some online research, I was contacted by Jackie at Route 1 Chrysler again, I explained the situation and she told us to come in. Upon arrival at Route 1 Chrysler, we were greeted by Horace Boswell he told us immediately that "they would take care of us". Don Newberry came over and said the same they even apologized for the treatment we received at the other dealership. Mr. Boswell listened to my mother and was very sympathetic regarding her her loss. He explained every detail of the process and in very short time presented the options available. A white 2016 Chrysler 200 was brought out for my mother to test drive, Mr. Boswell assisted her with everything: seat and steering wheel adjustment, he turned the heat on for her and even put the seat belt on her! The trade figures were exactly what my mother had in mind and the deal was done! The staff at Route 1 Chrysler is like no other we were comfortable and taken care of just like they promised!! It was difficult to leave my father's cherished 300 behind but the staff at Route 1 Chrysler eased our grief and made the process a stress free experience. We can't thank you enough!!
