Fantastic First New Car Experience!!! I came into Roush Honda looking to buy a new car, actually my very first new car. I was a proud owner of a Red 2000 Honda Civic EX, I-VTEC which still I came into Roush Honda looking to buy a new car, actually my very first new car. I was a proud owner of a Red 2000 Honda Civic EX, I-VTEC which still runs good but getting older and needed something more reliable and bigger to hold family and friends. My family and I have been Honda owners for years! My Dad and I are very impressed with Roush Hondas Service Department! Another reason we wanted to buy from them. Being a 23 year old college student and getting ready to graduate this Fall 2014 I was ready to upgrade! Rob Donkelaar helped me in picking out a car that fit my wants and needs, that being the 2014 Honda Accord Sport! He was very knowledgable and my dad and I knowing cars where very impressed with that! His ability to relate to a customer was great! He was a great gentlemen and made sure my first new car experience was a great one and very easy going! Rob followed up multiple times to insure I was satisfied with my purchase and if I had a any other questions. Signing all the paper work with the women that processed all my documents and with help from Casey Brindley all went very well. I highly recommend Roush Honda and Rob Donkelaar! Trade in for used car I took my CRV into the shop and then decided to trade it in. Ericka Smiley worked with me to make sure the trade in toward my used car went smooth. She followed through from start to finish and even made sure things went well when I went to sign/buy the car (her day off). Rich Beard was so great working with us: running possible cost paperwork, letting us test drive many cars over a 4 day time frame, answering so many questions we had based on our needs, and his vacation started the day before we signed so he had all paperwork ready and traded us over to Richie Phillips for the purchase. Richie Phillips was great through the paperwork process. He even help hook up my phone to the bluetooth and explained the main parts of the car till I could read book. The only rocky part of my expericence was trying to deciding which car to get from the great selection. More

His ability to relate to a customer is legendary and since i am in sales just like he is, I have adopted his positive attitude to attending to the customers eager want at my job at IGS Energy. Karen Matthews needs to be promoted to finance director of customer service since she fights so hard for me and other customers to drive new cars and not have to settle for less than an new car. They walked me thru all of the steps to purchasing the car of my dreams. Rob has the precise knowledge to customer and tailor the cars to the customers needs and function. Karen worked so hard to challenge Honda Finance to approve me so that i can rebuild my credit and get a better deal for the future. That is what it takes to create customers for life. Well done I really do not like buying cars. I have ran into many nasty sales people and also had the finance person try to tack on extra months of payments afte I really do not like buying cars. Getting a new car should be an exciting experience, but issues mentioned above make it very stressful. I went to Richie on a used vehicle I had searched for several months. The vehicle was in great shape and as described from the online add. I felt he could sense my stress and frustration with the process but he made it very enjoyable. He worked with me for an agreeable price. Unfortunately my schedule has not permitted me to pick it up yet, but I look forward to a great car! More
