Was having a computer repaired at the mall and had some time to kill so the wife and I went to Rountree Moore to look at some used cars. We were in the market but not quite ready to pull the trigger. Robin was the first to greet us and we explained that we were just looking while killing time. She asked what we were looking for and we said something for the wife to drive back and forth to Jacksonville for her job so we needed something comfortable and reasonable on gas. She showed us around a little bit and then Charlie came up and asked if I was someone he knew. We decided we had seen each other at the local dirt track. He showed us a couple of cars that fit what what we were looking for and we drove a couple of cars. As we were getting ready to go an older couple had traded in a car for a new Lincoln and Charlie said to go look at it. We looked at the car and the wife and I both liked it and I liked the deal so we decided to get the car before someone else did. We noticed a couple of door ding type dents in one of the doors and the Lumbar adjustment was not working. Charlie told us not to worry that he would take care of it for us. We left that night with the car and my wife drove the car to Jacksonville for work and fell in love with it. We took it in to have the detail and dents removed, When they were trying to remove one of the dents the paint cracked. We were told to leave the car for a couple of days so the door could be removed and repainted. We went back to the dealership and were given a Ford to drive (thanks Charlie, I hated the Dodge) while we had the door repainted. Other than the fact that Charlie put us in a Dodge (I am not a Mopar fan)as a loaner vehicle our experience could not have been better. We love the car and it was the best dealership experience I have had to date. I look forward to doing business with them when it is time to upgrade my truck. I purchased this car from them after viewing what was posted online on the cars.com website and their own website and after talking to a representative from their company (Jena Thomas). After a few days I showed up with a car that I had that was completly paid off and traded it for the car they had advertised and was rushed into signing papers and before I knew it these salemen were putting me in the vehicle and sending me on my way the first time I ever saw the vehicle. less than half a mile down the road the vehicle would barely run so I turned around and took it back to them, They acknowledged a problem and commenced to fix it while I went home with a loaner vehicle. They had a driver return the van to me stating it was fixed and after test driving it again there was still a problem. I talked to Randy Sears who convinced me to drive it for the weekend and he would make things right on monday if something was wrong. That weekend the Check Engine light came on and the same problems persisted with it running poorly so they came and got the vehicle and provided another loaner vehicle while the Emissions system was repaired. Got the vehicle back this past thrusday and the van drove much better except for the rear wheel bearing which they would not repair and wanted to charge me $400 to fix. At this point I contacted a local mechanic who would get me fixed without all the hassle. over the weekend we drove the vehicle about 70 miles and the check engine light came back on again. I took it and had the code read and it stated that it was a problem with the catalytic converter system which is what they just repaired. Upon closer inspection of the vehicle it appears they may have used a old part as NO new part was installed as they stated. I contacted them about this issue and was told by Jenna that their people checked it out and everything was fine and that I should have it checked out by someone when the rear wheel bearing is fixed because that is likely the issue. The wheel bearing from what others have told me will not produce a emissions code from the ECM. I would not do business with this company again if they were giving out free cars. All I wanted was a vehicle that was free from mechanical defects as stated and safe for my pregnant wife and three kids to be in. A lot of fast talking and false promises is what I got instead. More

We knew we wanted a Ford F-150 and Rountree-Moore had the best selection within a 100 mile radius of Gainesville. Albert showed us what he thought was what we were looking for and we ended up buying just tha best selection within a 100 mile radius of Gainesville. Albert showed us what he thought was what we were looking for and we ended up buying just that. Albert was very professional with his attentivenes to our needs and manner of speech. However, Albert needs to read the owner's manual a little more. Several questions I asked he did not know the answer and I eventually found them in the manual. I had decided I needed a bedliner and a license plate holder. The person handeling the finances told me it would be an additonal charge of "10-15 bucks". Well, when you are buying a truck of 40 grand, that shouild be no problem. I drove back to Lake City from Gainesville, 45 miles, the following Saturday to get the bed liner installed and a special Simonize wax job. I was the told they don't install bedliners on Saturday. I also could not sync my music via bluetooth with the truck. The phone yes, the music no. I was told to go to an ATT store down the road from the dealership and have them look at my phone. I replied that I did not think it was the phone. When I made my third trip (45 miles one way) back for the bedliner, which was installed quickly, and I had them test my phone in a new F-150 similar to mine sitting on the lot. It synched up fine, so it was not the phone. I was told I probably need a update on the software. After I was home, the next day I called Gainesville Ford and I was told the same thing by their service manager. He said they do quite a few updates every week, so bring it on in. I will, because 90 miles is a long way to go for minor stuff. Oh yeah, I did get a free license plate holder and 20 gals of gas from the dealeship, so that is a plus, but I still gotta give 'em a 3 on the overall experience, as it was OK.... Love the truck though.. More
The salesman Big Nate was amazing. He knew everything we had to asked about every vehicle we looked at. I looked at several trucks and several cars. Nate did not hesitate to answer every question we had quickly and effectively. My son was in love with the red Vette that was on the lot and kept bugging him about the car. He didn't get aggravated or flustered by all the questions. In fact he went and got the keys to the car and allowed my son to sit in the car and even stated it for him. Needless to say he was happy for the next several day. Its the small thinks like this that count. the professionalism that Nate showed was unrivaled by any other dealership that we have ever been to. After looking at a F-150 and talking with Nate he helped us realize that this is what we need. Nate brought us back inside the showroom and introduced us to the sales manager by the name of FAST FREDDY. This guy was, well lets put it this way... Fast... he was a nice guy all and all but he just wasn't listening to what we were saying... After we talking a few minutes he made me realize i wasn't listening to what i was saying. he actually showed us how we can save money by trading our current car in and refinance it lower the payments and afford the truck that we want with no more cost out of our budget. We didn't buy at this visit to Rountree-moore but you better believe we will be back to see BIG NATE and FAST FREDDY... this was truly an amazing dealership and would encourage anyone to stop by and see these guys...
