Russ is absolutely the best! He made car buying fun!!!!! We have been shopping for a vehicle for months. We finally decided to get pre-approved. We looked at every local dealership with in 150 miles from our home and finally found what we were looking for at Roundtree Moore Ford. We were contacted by Russ Waters after we had inquired online about the vehicle we were interested in. He was kind and courteous on the phone, but most of all, he was caring about what I was actually looking for. When we got to the dealership, it was nice knowing beforehand who we would be dealing with. Russ greeted us promptly and friendly. He explained in detail what was happening each step of the way. After showing us the car we were looking at, taking us for a test drive and going through the tedious paperwork, Russ had us ready to go in minutes. BUT, the finance company would not accept the car I wanted due to the miles on it. But that did not stop Russ. He asked exactly what I was looking for and he searched not only his dealership, but all the others in their network to find a vehicle that not only had what I wanted, but was with in the budget we wanted it. He worked tirelessly with the finance managers to get me numbers on each vehicle we were interested in. After hours of dealing with me, you would think he would be tired. But not Russ, he kept looking until he found not only the PERFECT vehicle for us, but the price was too high. Seeing how much I wanted that vehicle, Russ promptly went to work, and through it all, and I mean it took him all day, he kept us laughing and informed of everything that was happening. He worked and worked until he made that vehicle match our budget. Through it all he was always kind, caring, and most of all, he never gave up. If I were to buy another car, and we will I know, I would not want any other salesman than Russ. All of the employees we seen were friendly, kind and seemed pretty genuine, but Russ is what made buying our SUV absolutely FUN. And that is not a word that goes with car buying! In the whole time we were there, which was a easy 7 hours, he did not treat us as customers, but more like friends and that is what made him special. Rebecca Cannon More
RUDE Staff after purchase. You must be hiring your "friends" to run the various offices. Several of these woman are overtly rude and obviously fear no repercussions. EVERY single time I am forced to call for information regarding one of our several vehicle purchases or their service, I am appalled at how little regard for professionalism is evident at the Ford location. Shameful and annoying. Our repairs look great, but the dealership itself has the "I don't really care" attitude after the purchase paperwork is signed. More
This dealer is a pathetic excuse of a dealer. So, I brought my truck here for warranty and as luck would have it the warranty company refused to cover my truck. So I finally got some money to fix it and it takes them three weeks to get it running and one day I stopped by to check on my truck and somebody from their shop had decided to use my truck as a parts truck and pulled a computer module out from behind the back seat. And it has been three weeks since I asked about it and nobody will give me an answer on what happened and why they let parts get stolen off my truck. They called me the other day saying my truck is finished and to come pick it up. When I opened the door even though the key was not in it, the radio was playing music and my door locks didn't work. It has been almost a week since then and everytime I talk to them about it they say "it'll be done tomorrow" tomorrow comes and no change. So the day finally arrived when they said it was done and I went to pick the truck up and the spare tire was missing and a plug is missing from the rear end and oil is leaking everywhere. Mr. Gregory is an excellent sales representative. Been shopping & looking around for several weeks to trade in my Honda, & really was not pleased with what different dealerships had to offer. First of all, some sale representatives from different dealerships we're either "too" friendly to the point that they appeared to be plain old phony, or lacked the desire to really make a sale. Mr. Gregory had patience understating and demonstrated a positive seance of humor which allowed me to feel relaxed and ask questions without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed. I was very pleased with everyone @ the Rountree-Moore dealership but by all means Mr. Eddie Gregory is their "Shining Star". Dora Amarillo FL More
We found the vehicle we wanted, for a good price and it was easy to come to terms. Salesmen Eddie Gregory and Ken Strickland were very helpful and reasonable. My only recommendation to the dealership would be to just let the salesman do the communicating and save the customer relations contacts until after the purchase has been finished.
