Call backs are not returned when they promise to call me back with answers to my questions. over all though I would still choose rountree over ORR any day. More
No communication and the Advisor just doesn't care I recently brought in a 2016 Ford Transit Connect that had a check engine light (o2 sensor) on, after keeping it for 2 days I get told that they don't I recently brought in a 2016 Ford Transit Connect that had a check engine light (o2 sensor) on, after keeping it for 2 days I get told that they don't know what the problem is, I had to call to get that information as I never received a call btw. They said just drive it and if it comes back on to come back. Well it came came back on and this time with a transmission code. They had it for a week and told me when I called after 2 days of not hearing anything that they had to put an o2 sensor in and that would clear everything up, which makes no sense! I told the advisor (Kevin Free) that I had to pick up the vehicle on that Friday about 3pm and asked if it was ok to drive and he said yes that would be no problem. I show up on Friday at 2:45pm tell Kevin I am here to get the vehicle and he says "can't have it". They had pulled the PCM out and taken apart the driver front suspension. I didn't get a call about this and therefore wasted a trip and $200 fee because I did not have the vehicle here for GPS integration. When I asked him when it would be ready the only answer I could get was "I don't know". Finally yesterday (5 days later) I CALL and Kevin tells me the van is ready. When I finally get the van I expressed my concerns about our experience there regarding the lack of communication, not ever having an answer or willing to try and get one, and how long all this took. Kevin Free our service advisor said and I quote " I am not worried about it, have a nice day" then walked off. Due to that right there our company and our sister company (close to 70 ford vehicles) will NEVER do business at Rountree again. I will go to Wray Ford or have it towed to Texas if I have to.
