Javen McCree was my service advisor at Rountree Ford. I had two fenders loose on my 2022 Ford Bronco. His attention to detail was outstanding and I await the delivery of fenders. They were very professional and yet helpful. They were courteous and friendly. Every thing was done in a timely manner. Even a car wash. I appreciate their consideration to an older person. My October 28, 2024 experience with “Javen” at Roundtree was terrible. My brakes had gone out (Recalled part failed) and I needed to touch base with a service rep before closing, 5:45pm. After that I call was terrible. My brakes had gone out (Recalled part failed) and I needed to touch base with a service rep before closing, 5:45pm. After that I called AAA for towing service to Roundtree, where I purchased my 2017 Lincoln mkz. I also have all service and oil changes done there, because I know I’m in their computer systems by name and VIN. (June 2019 - Nov 2024.) Javen “started a ticket” for me, which I understood to mean that he got the ball rolling with the Service Dept. for the next day. I confirmed my full name, description of vehicle, and left my phone number (cell) (318)-344-4915 and Jalen read the description of the Recall back to me. I gave Javen my verbal authorization to have my car inspected for the recalled brake part, and to begin work fixing my brakes. The tow truck left my vehicle at Roundtree that evening with instructions to deposit my key in Dropbox. My instructions to tow my car to Roundtree and my phone calls all indicate full authorization to start work. Also, I asked Javen to have my oil changed, since he indicated it had been one year and 2,000mi ago. [38,000est] I wanted a price for any maintenance needed at 40,000mi and he said he’d call me in the morning with that. Day #2 (Tues, 10/29): I heard nothing from Javen nor Roundtree about my car, despite my voicemail messages - including my full name, current phone number, and description of vehicle. Day #3 (Wed, 10/30): Contacted Roundtree and Javen said I’d have to pay $195 to diagnose the brake problem despite the Recall notice. This didn’t sit well with me because I had been to Roundtree twice in 2023 with the Recall letter and the part was never available. Now, I had just been driving in traffic when the 10/28/24 incident occurred. The Lincoln Company needs to take responsibility for this liability. Day #4 (Thur, 10/31): Third day of borrowing a car because no “loaner” vehicles were available at Roundtree, despite the Recall letter. My vehicle is still no ready, Javen told me that all other cars that could be finished today, would be a priority due to month-end reports. Day #5 (Fri, 11/01): Heard nothing all day; finally saw a text after hours that my car was ready. Unable to pkup. Closed. Day #6 (Sat, 11/02): Javen not working. Service Dept closed? Day #7 Sun, 11/03): Roundtree closed. Day #8 Mon, 11/04): 8am Javen called to let me know that my car was ready and I needed to pay for brake fluid. ***When I arrived, the oil had not been changed and no preventative maintenance had been performed either. Roundtree kept my car for eight days without completing the work requested. Poor customer service. More
