I wish I would have read this before I brought my truck up here it's been there for 18 days and haven't heard anything. Had a Roll and Lock bed cover installed when I purchased a Ford truck from Rountree. Have returned it 6 times and still will not stay closed. Worst service I have ever seen. a Ford truck from Rountree. Have returned it 6 times and still will not stay closed. Worst service I have ever seen. More
I made an appointment for an oil change at 1PM. When I arrived at 1PM they told me it wouldn't be ready until 2:45PM. I was in a good mood and thought you know things happen that might not be in their con arrived at 1PM they told me it wouldn't be ready until 2:45PM. I was in a good mood and thought you know things happen that might not be in their control even with an appointment. I sat there until 3:05PM and the service guy came and told me they locked my keys in my car and that it had been ready 20 minutes ago and were looking for my keys and realized after 20 minutes the keys were in the cupholder locked in. They spent the next 15-20 minutes trying to get the keys out. That's when the service guy told me they got the keys out but they hadn't done the oil change. The only thing he said to me was "I'm sorry you had a bad experience." Nothing to even help the fact I was there for 2 and a half hours and nothing was done. DO NOT GO HERE. More
Service department is the worst! Lied to us so many times. Kept our truck hostage for three weeks. Still didn’t fix it! No star rating. times. Kept our truck hostage for three weeks. Still didn’t fix it! No star rating. More
Our 2018 Ford Expedition had a transmission issue at 23,000 miles which should be covered by the manufacture’s warranty. Our Expedition sat in the Rountree Service Dept for 81 days and was not repaired 23,000 miles which should be covered by the manufacture’s warranty. Our Expedition sat in the Rountree Service Dept for 81 days and was not repaired. The General Manager, Kelly McMullen, approved a rental vehicle for 68 of those 81 days; thereafter refusing to provide a loaner or rental leaving us without a vehicle, despite the fact they had not repaired our vehicle. The communication at this dealership is less than desirable. We were never updated on the status of the vehicle. Every time we called to check on it, no one seemed to know anything about it. After reporting this experience to the Ford Motor Company Customer Service, we finally had the vehicle transported by Ford Roadside Assistance to another dealership to be repaired. We do not recommend Rountree Ford! More
You may see the dealer response, below. Well, Kelly McMullen has done absolutely nothing! Nothing. R is still making payments. Rountree is still making excuses and stalling. It's 4 days before Chri McMullen has done absolutely nothing! Nothing. R is still making payments. Rountree is still making excuses and stalling. It's 4 days before Christmas, and there is no truck in sight. Interesting that the general manager responded with that "pat" answer. Group 1 Automotive must be the most corrupt corporation in America. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! More
DO NOT BUY from Rountree Ford in Shreveport! No matter how desperate you are! Long story short: On October 9th, R bought a truck. It ran for less than 3 weeks! For 5 weeks, he has had no truck. NO how desperate you are! Long story short: On October 9th, R bought a truck. It ran for less than 3 weeks! For 5 weeks, he has had no truck. NONE! He owes what will be a total of $29,000 at the end of the loan. The truck ran for 72 hours without problems and for 3 weeks until it needed towing. Rountree and the warranty company refused to fix or replace the bad engine. (Chevy Land determined the enging is no good.) Now, R is “liable” for the “surgery” bill on the “engine” before the warranty decides whether or not to cover it, in spite of paying an extra $3500 for warranties. In other words, ROUNTREE FORD LINCOLN looked at R, saw a naïve, young Black guy from a small town in Louisiana (who has a family and a responsible job), and sold him a bad truck with a bad engine- rigged to work for 72 hours. They also encouraged and allowed him to buy every kind of warranty coverage, all the while KNOWING that the engine was bad and would break down. NAMES: Kent Haws (Sales manager), Pat Porcell (service manager), Richard ___ (general manager), and Jacqueline ____ (Rountree representative to Warranty company) have all participated in this “scam.” In fact, if you read the real reviews of this dealership, you will read this same story, over and over, again. Any lawyer out there want a class-action case? This is their method-of-operation, according to other dealerships. They plan to “wait” R out, hoping that: 1- Maybe he will go away with no truck and still owe them money. He is responsible, so he will make the payments, even without a truck. 2- R will pay for the repair on a new truck he has owned for less than 2 months. 3- R will not pay his bill, so they can repossess the truck and they can re-sell it to another naïve buyer. They can also keep R’s money. DO NOT BUY anything at Rountree Ford Lincoln OR at any Group 1 Automotive dealership. Google the dealership, first. Go anywhere else! Summary of details: October 9th, R bought a red 2010 Silverado truck at Rountree Ford Lincoln. He financed it with their company (28% interest) and bought all available Extended warranties and the GAP warranty which added another $3500 to the bill. On October 13th, 4 days later, R had to call Rountree because the truck started billowing blue smoke and an oil warning light came on. From there, it went downhill. Within a couple of weeks, the truck had to be towed from Rountree service department to ChevyLand Service department, where the service department determined that Rountree sold R a truck with a bad engine. Since then, R has not seen his truck. 2 months. R and his advocates have contacted both Rountree and ChevyLand every day. Rountree refuses to repair it. “R’s tough luck.” The extended warranty company ($2800 worth) denies the claim and says it’s a sales problem. They insist that R will have to pay to “take apart the engine” to determine what is wrong BEFORE they decide to cover a repair. Understandably, ChevyLand refuses to take part in this “scam” because it’s unethical. *I can give you exact contracts, names, dates, contacts made, responses, and other details. More

Rountree Ford had my vehicle for almost two weeks. I turned my vehicle in on Friday afternoon. I was very understanding in the wait process at the beginning in order for them to order the part and since turned my vehicle in on Friday afternoon. I was very understanding in the wait process at the beginning in order for them to order the part and since they were short handed. But when I called for an update I was promised I would have someone start on my vehicle the following Monday morning. That wasn’t the case every time I called it was a reason why they couldn’t start on my vehicle. I had Jamie Frazier as a advisor. The worst advisor anyone could have. She never called back after leaving voicemails for updates. Every time I spoke with her she was rude and nonchalant I guess because it wasn’t her vehicle. I would say Pat did try and help the process. I would advise anyone. Don’t leave your vehicle there and have Jamie as your advisor. Unless you strive to have horrible customer service .. this is the worst experience I’ve had with a dealership service department. I would recommend a training in learning how to communicate with customers. More
