After further review and follow-up conversations with employees who were present during your visit, I found discrepancies in the account of events you provided and the consistency of information I gathered from each of the individual team members I spoke with. That aside, please know I did still want to try and earn your business, even if it was only for the prospect of working together again in the future. I carefully considered your request with guidance favoring goodwill, but after factoring in the discount the result was just too far away from something I could reasonably justify as a relationship investment.
