Round Rock Honda

After my recent purchase of a Certified pre-owned Honda from the Round Rock dealership on 7/16. I begin to notice to smell of gas, we were able to narrow down the smell to the garage where the CRV-EX-L is from the Round Rock dealership on 7/16. I begin to notice to smell of gas, we were able to narrow down the smell to the garage where the CRV-EX-L is parked. We had a firefighter stop by to check the house and then concluded it was the CRV. I contacted our sales agent and was referred to the Honda service center. I later received a call that they found a rodent nest in the fuel line. We've lived in our home for 5 years with no sign of rodents, plus we have snacks stored in the garage; still no rodents. The vehicle was inspected on 6/27 and left in the Honda parking lot until we purchased it. We've had the vehicle less than a month and the Honda service dept initially quoted us $1,800, I am waiting on a formal price. I should not have to come out of pocket for a Certified vehicle left outside. Management at the dealership reports there is nothing they can do. This has been the worse car purchasing experience we have ever had, I was a lifelong Honda owner until this stunt, and we are extremely disappointed Honda would not make this right. With the Penske brand behind the name, I assumed the service and commitment to doing the right thing would be at the center of the customer experience but I was misled. More
