My wife and I came in around 4:30pm on Saturday to buy a used Honda Civic with a trade in and cash. We got our car appraised and told them the difference was going to be cash. It was a busy floor but not ultimately packed at all as first Texas Honda was way more packed and busy than your dealership when we went there earlier. Simon our sales guy is a young man and I totally blame this fiasco on him. He even told us he was going to take care of more people that came in and was constantly on his cell phone throughout this experience. I have been in sales and sales management and can tell you he didn’t take care of us correctly or we would have never gotten out of there the last couple at 11pm! That is literally 6 1/2 hours! 4 hours after our car was appraised. Here is what makes it worse, my son and I left to eat dinner around 8. When I came back I asked Simon how far we were he said 4th place . Then I saw my wife waiting and she said he told her 3rd in line. This is 8 pm now. We were told you only had 4 finance people well I know math and something didn’t seem right as there were maybe 2-3 families ahead of us only. That’s 3 hours! They didn’t take care of us until both my wife and son said they didn’t want the car anymore and I yelled at everyone to get us in to see the finance guy. I’m sorry but this guy Simon is an idiot who just kept saying sorry sorry and he looked like a deer staring at headlights all through this process while completely ignoring us for hours or on his phone. What kind of salespeople do you let work in your establishment! Why I was really xxxxxx off - my wife has an elderly mom she takes care of nightly and the poor lady hadn’t eaten that night until midnight until my wife got to her home. You people have zero heart and it was obvious you wanted to take care of the bigger ticket car sales that night as we bought a used car cash. Cash ! Meaning no credit check for the finance guy. Once we saw Don ,which by the way was the only professional person in your establishment, it took literally 15 minutes to finish the process. An almost 7 hour xxxx experience done in 15 minutes. Tell me why weren’t we pushed through since we were paying cash in front of those customers doing credit they might have taken more time? I want an apology to my wife Kelly and not from that little squirm liar Simon who couldn’t sell his way out of a paper bag and if he represented my dealership I would be very worried . He needs to go find another profession. I will be making a formal complaint to Penske Auto Group as well to make sure he gets helped in finding a new profession. I also want my wife to be compensated for her time that she missed taking care of her mom. I don’t want to hear the excuse we were busy. No you weren’t that busy. I have ran sales teams busier that what you were Saturday night. So busy your guys can sit around on their cell phones laughing it up with your sales manager? No , your salesman wanted to go sell bigger ticket customers and didn’t care about us. That’s fine …I think Penske Auto group will be very interested in knowing that customer service doesn’t matter at Round Rock Honda More
