Been one of those car months that everyone fears and hates. First one warning light on the dashboard started flashing, then later, a second one. Since I've rarely had a good experience with service departments at dealerships, I went to a local mechanic for the first problem. When it came to the second one, I went back to the same mechanic. However, when he explained the problem, and the fact that they would have to remove the dashboard to fix it, he made me a little less certain of his competency - not because of the problem and the fix, but because when I asked if the dashboard would go back easily and well, he chuckled and said, "Hope so". At that point I decided that an authorized dealer was the best place to have my repair done. When I went to the Rossi service department, I was directed to Michael. He calmly explained the problem to me, what the fix would involve and cost, and assured me that given the age of my car, this was not an uncommon problem. The day of my appointment for the repair, the job was finished an hour before they said it might be. Michael got in the car, checked out the repair, and went with me to the cashier. My experience with Rossi, thanks to Michael, has convinced me that the best place to go when you have a real car problem is a real dealership. Now that I have a third problem in three months, I will be heading back to Rossi. More

Penny Dougherty found me the 2013 GMC 1500 Sierra that met my expectations and needs. It had the style, power, towing package and passenger capacity I needed, plus the integrated trailer brake controller and back-up camera that I really wanted. The entire purchasing experience was professional in every way. Penny understood how important the truck load and towing capacity was to me, staying within the 5.3L engine package to get fuel economy. We looked at a lot of trucks, then late one morning she called my attention a newly arrived 2013 burgandy GMC Sierra 1500 with the exact combination of equipment and features I wanted and needed. We arrived at a mutually agreeable sales contract in a prompt, straightforward manner and I drove my truck home the next day. The tonneau cover and chrome side steps that were part of the deal, but not on the truck at time of delivery, were installed promptly within the timeline line represented at the sale. All in all, a very positive experience. Rossi Chevrolet delivered on everything that was part of the deal. In that the dealer had previously worked on my Avalanche, I know their service department to be thorough and dependable. Working with Penny was a pleasure. She was patient and understanding.
