Alan Eden made the sales process simple so I knew exactly what I was paying out the door for a 2018 TLX A-Spec at a good price. He was very detailed and patient with me on explaining all the new and exciting technology which I did not have in my old Honda Accord 2005. Also, he went over details on maintaining the vehicle which has already changed a good amount since purchasing my last car. Plus, he even recommended a good place close by to get my windows tinted afterwards. Last of all, he followed up with me a couple days after to make sure everything was going fine with the new car. This was a nice touch as a lot of salespeople forget your name once you leave the lot. Altogether it was a great sales experience and would definitely recommend asking for Alan Eden if you want to buy a car from Rosenthal Acura. More

Unparalleled customer service and experience From the moment I first walked into the store until the moment I drove off the lot with my new car (roughly 1 week later), the folks at Rosenthal crea From the moment I first walked into the store until the moment I drove off the lot with my new car (roughly 1 week later), the folks at Rosenthal created a completely 1st class experience. In particular, my sales consultant, Larry Pinto, was superior throughout the entire process. Larry is the definition of exceptional customer service and integrity. His patience, knowledge, and initiative to go the extra mile just to put a smile on my face is completely unheard of in the industry. During our test drives and discussions, he wasn't concerned with making a sale but clearly more interested in making sure I was happy and had all of my questions or desires met. He arranged multiple test drives on the TLX, introduced me to his team and followed up very quickly with any questions I had. While the quality and performance of the car was naturally the main factor in my purchase, the reason I chose to buy it at Rosenthal was because of Larry and the team. Larry was honest and attentive at each step, with a smile on his own face. When I called him the other morning to say I had chosen which vehicle I wanted to purchase, Larry had already taken care of getting it cleaned, prepped and ready to go the night before (without even knowing I was ready to purchase). When I arrived at the store my new car was shining out front. While we were awaiting the financing team, he offered to buy me lunch or provide me anything I needed. Aside form Larry, John, Tony and Sri were also very accommodating and provided exceptional service throughout the process. They worked as a true seamless team. I could not be more thankful to them for the experience in providing me a car. If you are in the market for any car period, make sure to stop by Rosenthal and visit these folks, you will receive an unparalleled experience. And that experience is what makes purchasing a new car all the more worthwhile. More

Attempt to bait and switch Partly this is my fault of being gullible and not believing what I was seeing but I blame the salesman for being dishonest. I looked online at a used car late in the evening and I double checked in the morning but the vehicle was no longer on the website. I emailed the used car salesman in the morning to check if the car was still available and he verified it was there. I told him that I would be there in the afternoon and that I would call and email him to give him an ETA at the dealership. I emailed him and left him a voicemail that I would be there in an hour. Left DC in heavy traffic (actually took 1 hour 15 minutes with an accident on I-270) and 5 minutes away from the dealership, the used car salesman calls me up and told me that the car was just sold an hour ago. I understand it is "first come, first serve" on used cars but I should have known better with all the signs of the car being sold the night before. I made a U-turn and never ever set foot on the lot. Of course the salesman said that he was "honest" and he would not ever do this to any customers. Then he had the audacity to tell me that he had other used cars on the lot to look at that was in my price range. How can I buy a car from a salesman that I can't trust? This is one of many ways of baiting and switching in the car industry that gives it a bad reputation. If I wasn't on a budget and wanted a new car, I would have used Costco's car buying services without the haggle of prices. Again, I take partial blame for this one but if I had an employee working under me that uses unethical methods to get a customer in the door then that employee wouldn't be working for me any longer. Maybe this is how the management of Rosenthal Acura train their employees but I will never ever set foot in this dealership or recommend them to my worst enemy. More
WILL NEVER RETURN Used car sales will nickel and dime you by the hundreds....Very disappointing experience attempting to purchase a used car. First, we were lowballed on our trade, CarMax offered $3000 more, so we since we liked the car they had, we took our trade to CarMax and came back with a check ready to buy (losing trade in tax benefit). Mid-way through the salesman starts adding in the $299 dealer processing fee (which I get, they all do) then unannounced, adds in a $495 vehicle reconditioning fee (note: this reconditioning fee was not documented anywhere on their website or Cars.com) That was a deal breaker and the sales manager rudely would not budge, he says everybody pays that, well, I guess everybody except me :) So if you consider purchasing a car from Rosenthal Acura, plan to add $800 or maybe more to their advertised price. We won't be back. More

He was very impatient (long sighs!) and gave me all the reasons this was a difficult request, no guarantee of coverage and a difficult problem to solve (turned out to be a simple setting adjustment, made free of charge at the Naples Acura). I will consider buying a my next Acura from another dealer. More
