This has been my BEST Car buying experience ever and believe me, I've bought many cars old and new!!!!! The last couple of weeks have been heartbreaking and discouraging. I had gotten turned down by ot believe me, I've bought many cars old and new!!!!! The last couple of weeks have been heartbreaking and discouraging. I had gotten turned down by other dealerships because of my not so great credit. I made the mistake of co-signing for a car in the past and that amongst other things had torn down my credit rating. One dealership told me if I paid off the car I had co-signed for they had a lender who would finance me a Ford Escape. Needless to say that didn't happen and the salesman wouldn't even return my calls. After writing an ugly email, he called and said, "Oh, I gave my phone to my wife who left the country today"...sure sure. Then he said, let me check on your paperwork and I'll call you back. Well, he checked and came back to say, "we need $3,700 down payment." I almost passed out. That was the end of that story. While sitting at my desk early yesterday morning, I happened to be on the Internet and an advertisement for Rosenthal Acura was there. I thought, "why not"... so I clicked on it, put in a search for what I was looking for and what do you know, there was a beautiful 2010 Ford Escape. I didn't allow my discouragement or disappoinment stop me and I clicked on it. Put in my information and the greatest thing happened to me - the salesman Harpreet Broca replied. You have to understand this was at 7:00 AM and we all know the car dealerships don't open until 9 or 10 am. Harpreet and I sent several messages and I asked him if they helped people who needed a second chance for credit. He was so understanding, he said, "We are all in the same boat." That one statement gave me so much hope. That's when I submitted the application. Harpreet told me he would be at the dealership at Noon and would check on everything at that time. He was true to his word on everything we discussed. He called me, he had Simmy Goswami to call me and later the Company who would do my financing called me. OMGoodness!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better team of people. Between God and them, I got my truck. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Harpreet for his professionalism and awesome work to make this happen. He knew just what team to have on his side to make my dreams come true. He told me over the phone, come into the dealership, I won't waste your time, YOU WILL BE DRIVING HOME in your truck!!!! It took no time at all once I got there. Simmy in the finance section was a dream come true as well. She was so professional and understanding. Went over every detail of my loan and even just gave me words of encouragement. As I was leaving the other salesmen/women said 'Congratulations' enjoy your new truck. WOW....that was unbelieveable. Rosenthal Acura have not only been the greatest car dealership I've ever dealt with, but they are now my car dealership for future vehicles!!! Why go anywhere else, when you've received treatment like that!!! I thank and praise God for Harpreet, Simmy and John at Wells Fargo. I can't thank you enough for this opportunity. You've allowed me to put my past mistakes behind me and move forward. It truly is a NEW Beginning. I am forever grateful. I have the truck I wanted and the payment I could afford!!!! I recently went to this Acura dealership to buy a used car. The car seemed very clean, and drove fine. I bought the car and when I got home, I was trying everything out. I realized the horn and the headlight didn't work. I couldn't believe that a so called respectible dealership could sell a car that wouldn't even pass inspections. I fixed the headlight myself and took the car to a shop to make sure nothing else was wrong with it. The cv joint was broken!!! The car was a lemon!!! I found the car off of lemonfree.com. So as I was working out with the dealership to get the small things fixed, the transmission completely stopped working. I had to get it towed to them. They eventually agreed to give me my money back. I just couldnt trust their repair shop, if they couldn't even spot these problems on the car before they sold it to me. They don't really care. Anyways before my refund check even was sent in the mail, the original salesman had the nerve to try to sell me another similar car. I was furious. Rosenthal has absolutely the worst customer service. They don't answer their phones and the managers are never there. Never buy used car here. I am never going back, due to a horrible experience. He also matched the lower offer from other dealership. Mr. Pinto was very professional and treated us very well.. no wonder why he is in the business for 22 years. Ms. Kristen Bang made the financing process so smooth and stress-free..so knowledgeable and professional.. there was always a room for us to say 'NO' or decline any extras. Will surely shop here again in the future.. More
I emailed the on-line department through AAA about a used CRV and RAV4. Andrew got back to me in about a day and said they would let me know if they were bought before I got a chance to get in there later th CRV and RAV4. When I went on site to see the cars, a new salesman Steven came out to help me. He was BRAND new, which seems to be a theme here, second time this has happen to me. He searched for the cars. The RAV4 had been sold but the CRV was found over at Rosenthal Mazda lot, even though it was listed for Acura. The car was FILTHY! Smelled like dog, had dog hair ALL over the interior, there was food crumbs all over the floor. It was obviously being used as a personal vehicle and was never cleaned. It was sold to them (according to MVA) about 3 weeks prior. It also had damage to the front bumper that was not fixed. Even though there was all these cosmetic issues with it, I still was interested and told them I would come back tomorrow and it BETTER be cleaned, detailed and bumper fixed. In the day that passed, I also told them that an outstanding recall needed to be addressed which with A LOT of bickering from a guy named Mike (sales manager?)they did do everything I asked. The next day the bumper looked before but still had a small dent it in, the car was much cleaner but their detail people SUCK. Smeared cleaner and really smelly cleaning products....why did they not just ozone it after cleaning it. I was told that they used contractors and they are not great. So, other than these details, we did buy it. The sales manager on duty the day we bought it was Gary, and he is a charm, very nice, accommodating and very willing to please without being cheesy. Steven our sales guy was a bit flaky once we said we would buy it, he completely disappeared after seeing him for 1 min the day we bought it. I can't imagine going to this Acura again and although Gary made things pleasant, not sure about the Mazda dealership either. More
We are a transmission repair shop in Martinsburg, WV. We have dealt with Rosenthal on several occasions when needing to order "dealer only" parts. We just ordered from them again & the parts manager went out of his way to assist me in finding the right sensor & then getting it out that day for UPS to deliver. We received it the next day, it was exactly the right part & I couldn't ask for a better experience. We deal with dealerships frequently & I wish that all of them were like Rosenthal. Our salesperson, Chris, made sure that we were happy and comfortable, and made our purchase a smooth and quick one. Each person we encountered at Rosenthal were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Not to mention, their prices are unbeatable! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in leasing or buying an Acura. I know I will enjoy my new TSX! More
