As usual the process itsellf is cumbersome but to our surprise and I mean to our surprise, our experience at Rosenthal Acura in Gaithersburg, MD was anything but. We have never encountered such a friendly, warm and professional staff such as the one at Rosenthal. Our salesperson, Harpreet Broca is the epitome of professionalism. Mr. Broca practically nurtured us throught the entire process from start to finish. The personal attention is what stood out to us. Our credit situation wasn't the best and I must say I didn't think we would necessarily be approved for what we wanted and so we assumed that we were going to be offered what some dealers think that would suite them. Not so with Mr. Broca and staff. Each situation is unique, but Mr. Broca went way above and beyond what any dealer that we have encountered ever did to get us in the vehicle we wanted. His honesty and knowledge about what we could expect in terms of being realistic due to our credit situation was outstanding and impressive and much appreciated. Br. Broca and staff are truly customer advocates. Everyone to them is important and it was definitely manifested by the way we were treated. Mr. Gary and Yong were also exceptional, as they were very pleasant, professional and very instrumental in making sure that we did not leave Rosenthal unsatisfied. Great Experience Purchasing a Vehicle from 700 Miles Away I contacted Rosenthal Acura from an ad for a used vehicle I had located online. Immediately I reached sales representative, Mr. Broca. He was very helpful in answering all of my question without pushing any agenda or dealer tactics that I had experienced from several other places. I was contacting the dealership from the TN area, and MD is a pretty substantial distance away. After a day or so and considering the other options I had, I decided that the deal that Rosenthal Acura had was VERY fair compared to a pretty wide swath of the east coast to the midwest region. Once again I contacted Mr. Broca with a few more questions (same direct/helpful answers as before) as well as to whether it would be possible to place a deposit on the vehicle and come see it in person a week+ later. He let me know this was perfectly fine and that if the vehicle was not up to how it was presented or how I like it, it would be refundable. Very understandable and appreciated. Fast forward, the vehicle was great when I visited about 8-9 days later. The vehicle had been detailed and serviced. After arriving at the dealership from the airport we took the vehicle for a test drive. Mr. Broca was great to do business with. He let me take a substantial test drive as well as take my time inspecting the vehicle. I decided to purchase the vehicle and the business center immediately took over. The dealership was great at making me feel comfortable, while taking care of my out of state purchase and working through some intricacies to the titling situation that was specific to being from a different area. The dealership never tried to push anything extra after I politely declined the extra services they offered. It was very nice to do business with a car dealership that didn't make it overwhelming or confusing. All in all they handled the transaction great and I was in and out within 4 or so hours. It was a good experience doing business with Rosenthal Acura, the business department, and Mr. Broca, and I am very happy with the vehicle I got out of it. More

S Rosenthal Acura is the closest Acura dealership to me and I have been using their services for a few years now. I think this review is way over due. So here it goes. I have been getting my Acura serviced from Rosenthal Acura since I bought my first Acura back in 2009. Most of the work I got done from them is either installing accessories on my car, or some warranty works. My experience with their sales department is somewhat mixed, had an absolute awesome sales experience the first time, second time, not so much. But, their service department has been top notch every single time. My latest visit was a warranty repair related. I was having some rattling/clicking noise issue from the dash of my car for a while, but, whenever I was going to pull my car in to the dealership, the problem would just disappear. It was like my car knew that it was going to the doctor. A few days ago, the problem came back and I tricked my car in going to the dealership. Told her that we are going to the mall, but took her to the dealership instead. My usual service rep is Eileen, an excellent service rep, but she was out that day, so Linda, another superb service rep, helped me out. I explained the problem to her and asked her if she can ask one of the techs to take a ride with me so that I could tell the issue properly. She went back and brought tech Brian with her. During the drive around I told Brian the issue that I was having, and, luckily, I was able to replicate the noise. He told me that he will try his best to figure out a way to resolve the problem, but also told me that if he will have to remove the dash to fix the issue, it might be a problem because once you remove the dash in these new cars, there is almost always some new issue that arises later on. Anyways, long story short, I dropped off the car. Brian worked on it the next day, got a call the day after from Shannon saying that the car is done. Picked up the car, drove around, voila, no more noise. This is the second time Brian worked on my car, and both times, he excelled and was able to fix the issue the first time around. I didn't get a chance to drive my car on my usual work route yet, just drove about 5 miles from the dealer to my house, but I am pretty confident that tomorrow morning, there won't be any more clicking/clacking noise in my car. I am hoping that I won't be going back to Rosenthal anymore for any warranty related issue, but I am certainly looking forward to visit them for my usual vehicle maintenance service. More
My wife and I went to this dealer to purchase a 2014 Acura MDX. We came across James on the first day we went in. James reached out to us with respect and we told him what we were looking for. Unlike other sales people, James took his time to explain key features of this vehicle such as durability, safety, efficiency, and all the new features the vehicle possess. James never forced us to buy the car or strike a deal. What he did was explain the vehicle and then give us time to digest the information. Honesty: James is the most honest and truthful sales person I have ever dealt with. He will give you accurate and succinct information in reference to your transaction. He does not make any false promises to his customers just so that they can buy from him. Follow up: James will utilize all the means of communication in order to get in touch and provide you updates about your transaction. If James tells you that he will talk with the manager and get back with you, trust me he will get back with you with accurate information within a good and reasonable amount of time. Appearance: James has a welcoming appearance and it will be extremely difficult for anyone to not want to transact business with him. He does not trouble his customers about buying. His sales strategy is to transmit all the information about the vehicle and its features to the customer and let the customer decide. James is confident that Acura is a wonderful brand and therefore he explains about the vehicle with utmost confidence. Helpful: In the event of a negotiation, James will work really hard with the managers for his customers to drive out with the vehicle of their dream at a good and reasonable price. He is a bottom line person and will try his best to make the customer happy. With these exceptional features, I will always recommend any customer to see James. I am more than positive that the customer will not get disappointed. I thanks James for all the help he provided us. Keep up the good work. More
A Great Car Buying Experience My wife and I stopped by and looked at used and new Acura's on the lot. We were greeted by Antonio Cornacchia who is a pleasant and well dressed sales agent that had a genuine and sincere approach to dealing with people like us. He was great from the very beginning and introduced us to several possibilities on the used car lot. We test drove several vehicles and even took two vehicles home on different nights of the week. UNBELIEVABLE! I thought that after the first car he allowed me to take home (the Acura Hatchback ZDX) an incredible sports crossover that i fell in love with immediately, but later realized that it was not the perfect fit for my family. I left my trade on the lot and even filled up the tank in the ZDX thinking this was it. Next day i arrive back to the dealership with the ZDX and told the manager Sam that it was not the right fit. In the past I have had a dealership in Tyson's Corner almost fight me tooth and nail to return a used car I had driven off their lot the day before. I even had to call the police to assist in getting my old car back. NOT HERE! At Rosenthal Acura, and especially with Sam as manager, he treated us with respect and dignity. He said don't worry, there is no pressure to buy. He was extremely pleasant to deal with on professional level. I told my wife that no matter what, this is the people we want to buy our next car from. We continued to spend the next two hours searching for a car that fit my needs. Together we chose the best TSX on the lot and it is fair to say I am a proud owner of a used Acura TSX with only 18k miles. Sam negotiated a great payment on the car and was incredibly generous on the trade. No dealer anywhere had come close to what I was given on the 2012 Honda Civic EX with 78k. CarMax and Criswell Honda would not go over 9k, and in fact the lowest estimate was around 7k. Sam with all of his unique sales abilities gave me $12200. It was a great opportunity that I could not let slip away. We did the deal. We traded our Suburban as well and got into a lease deal on a 2014 MDX. Again, Sam came through for us and gave us a great buy offer for the Suburban that we could not turn down. Antonio was our point man for the used and new car deals. Antonio was open and friendly always looking for the right offering that met our style and payment. This evaluation would not be complete if I don't mention David the Director of Finance and Cristine who was superb in handling our paperwork and getting us out the door in a timely and efficient manner. Could say more, but I think you get the jist. It was a superb experience and i highly recommend Rosenthal Acura, and especially Antonio and Sam for being outstanding sales people who care about their customers. More

I had been looking online and researching the Acura MDXs. I found the car I wanted and inquired about it at first. I was on a set budget and amount I wanted to spend for my monthly payments. I also had a Mazda CX9 that I was going to use as a trade in. Mr Broca worked with me to not only get the car I wanted but to stay within my monthly budget. Because I live in Virginia, I could only arrange a visit on a Sunday. Mr Broca stayed in constant contact with me via email and telephone conversations throughout the week to ensure all paperwork was complete and ready for that Sunday. This allowed me to come in, test drive the car, and if I liked it, purchase right then and there without delay. Needless to say I left with the car I wanted, the payment plan I was comfortable with and satisfied with the easy car buying experience. More

Cons: sales floor layout needs revamping (customer lounge/seating should be foremost), some new car sales guys could brush up on customer intake. First off, I am THE last person I would have expected to be writing a review of an Acura dealership, much less owning one. Honestly, Honda does a very poor job of linking itself to its luxury brand (Acura) - especially compared to Toyota and its Lexus brand. After already having decided to purchase a Lexus RX, I decided to contact them on a whim due to the local dealers not having the darker interior I wanted readily in stock. I found a solid match in their online inventry (MDX with tech pkg) and submitted an inquiry. Within hours I received a response and set up a time to test drive. My salesperson was very knowledgeable, polite, and bent over backwards to address all issues/inquiries I had related to purchasing - including coming in to meet with me on his day off! After having endured weeks of tiring back and forth with others dealers who failed to simplify my process by being upfront re: pricing, availability, and specs, I was elated by Rosenthal's straight forward approach. Granted the new car sales guys on the floor could use some brushing up on customer intake (it's clear that used car customers are not their priority), I completed my car buying experience with renewed excitement thanks to Rosenthal Acura's simple, streamlined, customer-focused process. Harpreet and his colleagues are amazing - no aggravating time-wasters here! More
