Liars! I only wish there was an option for NO stars. I have been a Hyundai customer ever since I purchased a new 2012 Sonata. I am very upset over the mann I only wish there was an option for NO stars. I have been a Hyundai customer ever since I purchased a new 2012 Sonata. I am very upset over the manner in which I was treated recently. I realize that I am one person compared to your millions of customers worldwide. However, I must and will have my voice heard. After a refinance of my 2012 Sonata - which turned out to be a huge mistake, and after several assurances of how Hyundai products maintain their resale value, I attempted to trade it in this past August 2014 at Rosen Hyundai in Algonquin, IL. After being told that there was too much negative equity - a concept which I have never understood in all of the years that I have owned cars because dealerships get more money from their internal financing and sell trade-in vehicles at a profit anyway, I was informed that my only option would be a lease. After initial skepticism since I had never leased a vehicle before, I was told several things that I now believe were complete lies. Some of these concerns were voiced in my customer satisfaction survey after my lease began. However, they certainly merit mentioning again for full declaration of my concerns. First of all, I was told by someone whose name I have forgotten that a lease will boost my credit score. I have since met with a financial adviser who told me that my credit package that ensures against rust, weather conditions, and other hazards that was somewhere around a minimum of $1300.00. I obviously did not have the money for that. So, he told me - with very strong assurances - that he would see if that amount could be rolled into the loan. A very short time later, he returned and said that this could not be done. Fourth and finally regarding the lease itself, please be assured that I do very much appreciate the fact that their providing this new vehicle to me did get me out of a terrible situation with a reprehensible finance company. However, I do not agree with the fact that the entire deal was structured around a single vehicle. Basically, I feel that I should have been given more than one vehicle option. Now, for the greater concern regarding my credit score and recent experience.. This past Friday, May 15th, I went back to Rosen expressing a desire to convert my lease to a purchase. I met with someone named Steve and reiterated everything up to this point. He said that my financial advisor "does not know what she is taking about." He did bring up a valid point that a certain level of credit score is needed for a lease. Furthermore, he said that leasing records less debt on a credit report than a purchase would. These points do sound fair, accurate, and agreeable. However, without even pulling my credit and going to "speak to someone" about the possibility of converting my lease to a purchase, he returned a very short time later and told me three things: 1. He said that a lease can be converted to a purchase at anytime. 2. He pointed out the negative equity from my trade-in - which I already explained that I was told in no uncertain terms at the time of the lease that the negative equity "completely disappears." 3. He said that there was no advantage to converting the lease to a purchase because the purchase would record more debt on my credit report as previously indicated. Well, now I have to pay $11,000.00 to finalize termination of my lease! Thank you very much Rosen Hyundai and Hyundai Corporate! More

Purchase new car Rosen is amazing in customer service! My family and I have been purchasing/leasing from this location for about 10 years. They are truly great with everything they do. When we sat down to talk numbers on my most recent purchase, they had already dropped the price of the vehicle down almost $4,000. They don't pressure you to buy something you don't want to. They start out by showing you the simplest model of their vehicles, so you don't fall in love with one out of your price range. I would definitely recommend everyone I know to purchase through this location! More
Greg Epstein treated me right. I would recommend Rosen and especially the salesman Greg Epstein. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and we feel it was a very good deal. He was extremely easy to work with not like some car salesmen. If you go to Rosen I'd check with Greg first, I checked other dealerships and with the first call Greg gave us the best deal we found. This would have been a five star review but the guy that does the paperwork was rude trying to sell us a warranty even though we told him five times we weren't interested. By far Greg was the best salesman I've dealt with in buying cars over the last forty years. Jim A. More
