I wasn't pushed into buying and my sales rep answered all my questions and gave me time to think about the vehicle I had chosen. Roseburg dealers have a bad reputation, but this dealership exceeded all my expectations! More

Took my Honda Accord in due to a recall on the airbag, you know the ones that kill people. Encountered some very sketchy employee in the service dept. He talked out of both sides of his mouth and was doing his best to charge me for things I did not need. Had me open my hood and said he could see "mice paw prints" on my engine and they could have eaten wires, that it needed a costly inspection. I asked to see these rodent feet prints, there was none. He was basically trying to cheat me. I have heard from others to avoid this place and believe me I will. I tried to complain about this to management and they didn't seem to care. Taking my car to Eugene to have the dangerous situation fixed as I would not be surprised if shoddy work is done there. More

Not the case at Roseburg Honda!!! Nikko Villa was the most down to earth dealer I've dealt with!! He bent over backwards to get me the best deal possible! My down, interest & payments are AT LEAST half of what anyone else would offer! I could go on for days but if you're in the market for a new car, and great experience....Go check it out for yourself!!!! More

Best Honda Dealer in Oregon I've been a longtime Honda owner - having purchased my first Honda nearly 16 years ago. I knew that my next new car would be another Honda, but where I've been a longtime Honda owner - having purchased my first Honda nearly 16 years ago. I knew that my next new car would be another Honda, but where I bought it would be determined by several factors: price being the main thing. So I set out on a search with a 200+ mile radius from Coos Bay, Oregon to find my perfect car. I'm a bit of a control freak so I knew what I wanted and how I expect a dealer to respect what I had to provide as a customer. My car search started over a week ago. Okay its been closer to two weeks but there were a LOT of dealers in Oregon and there was a holiday thrown into the mix too. A search for Honda dealers returned so many results I was overwhelmed but figured I would actually try checking prices at every dealer to get the BEST deal. I later found Edmonds and CarGurus offered search options so I used both services. FYI: Edmonds.com won me over with the ease of use on their site and I would recommend that as a tool for others. I quickly eliminated about half the dealers in Oregon by price value alone. Then I was left with a handful of competitive pricing that helped steer me into the correct direction. Initially I found a car at another dealer but guess what? Their price they promised didn't include accessories they stuck on the car and no matter what I did, they insisted I had to buy these accessories. If you are anything like me and you are purchasing a new car that you're suddenly being told THEY accessorized but did so on your dime, then you will realize that type of attitude doesn't sit well with me. I said "Take the accessories off or include them in your price." We're talking less than $500 here. They refused and I walked away. Leaving me with my second most important factor: If a dealer thinks more of accessories than a customer, run as fast as you can. Accessories are optional and not permanent but a happy customer stays loyal. From the moment I started talking with Rick VerSteeg I felt I was what mattered. Me the customer, not the car, accessories, or the sales commission. I was who he was helping and he was determined to put me in the Honda I wanted at the best price that we both knew was fair. He knew I was searching other dealerships and never spoke badly about anyone else or tried to force my decision. He kept the line of communication open with me and let me make up my own mind. He was the one car salesman that gave me their best offer and sat patiently waiting, letting me search the other dealers and see what I found. No pressure, no ill comments, nothing but happy, positive vibes. Still bracing for potential car salesman behavior, I prepared myself to purchase a car from Roseburg Honda. I applied for financing online at http://www.roseburghonda.com and after getting approved, I arranged to meet Rick at the dealership. Even driving to Roseburg from Coos Bay I worried because I was putting my faith in this deal and felt comfortable but still worried it just seemed too good to be true. Rick was making this all seem way too easy. I drove to Roseburg and there sat my Honda all washed, fueled and sporting a giant beautiful bow. Only thing missing was that background music you hear in those Honda commercials. Seriously it was that good of a moment. Rick went over everything about the car. He walked me through safety features, display settings, recommended maintenance, etc. I admit momentarily I felt overwhelmed by all the information but that's Honda's fault for giving customers so many options as standard features. Regardless - Rick was prepared to go over every detail of my new car. I strolled over to the Finance Manger's office and we did all the money stuff (having absolutely nothing shoved down my throat as I had specifically requested a decline of those things ahead of time) and back to Rick for more options on my car. That's what keeps me loyal to Hondas. They feel their cars should come standard with what other car makers call “optional equipment”. Rick walked me out to my new car, programmed my phone to the Bluetooth and we sat marveling at the car for a bit. Yes he was that good. Would I do business with them again? You bet I would! I am tempted to start planning my tune-ups around Roseburg trips because Roseburg Honda is the kind of dealership you want to go back and do more business with. I am very satisfied and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that I chose the BEST dealership in Oregon. I have excel sheets, price graphs, and other charts to prove it! Thank you Roseburg Honda. You just earned a loyal customer. More
Worst Experience Ever. Seems Roseburg Honda's (formerly Horizon Honda) ethical practices have not changed. New owner Dan Woodrow should be ashamed. I recently purchased a ca Seems Roseburg Honda's (formerly Horizon Honda) ethical practices have not changed. New owner Dan Woodrow should be ashamed. I recently purchased a car from Roseburg Honda and was told the car was in 'like new' condition by salesperson Rick. Two days later I had the car inspected by an authorized dealer who told me the car had been in a major accident with severe frame damage, was repainted, new bumper, new hood, etc. I don't know how one can sleep at night when they push a $24k car out on the lot and neglect to mention it was in a major accident. When attempting to return the car, the manager Matt at Roseburg Honda said, "You're stuck with it." After refusing to work with me and hanging up on me many times, I drove the car back (after meeting with a private lawyer, speaking with the attorney general as well as the Better Business Bureau) and demanded they take it back. They took it back after realizing they didn't have an option since they did not disclose the damage. With that said, they were incredibly demeaning and downright unprofessional about it. Since I traded my car in for it, I had to pay them off as they completed the car payment with the bank and Matt promised to send the title to me as soon as they received it. 2 months later, I still didn't have the title. When I phoned and spoke with Matt, he refused to give me the title. I also contacted Rick, who completely ignored my phone calls. I am currently awaiting the results from the DMV & Attorney General investigation on this matter. This has to be the most unprofessional/ unethical group of people I've ever met. An apology from the owner would have gone a long way, but of course, I didn't get one. Buyer Beware! More
