Jack in the 122nd service department solved the grinding problem in the frontend of my Scion in less than 10 minutes, had the free oil change (I have unlimited) and the car ready to leave the shop in record problem in the frontend of my Scion in less than 10 minutes, had the free oil change (I have unlimited) and the car ready to leave the shop in record time. Not a penny did he want for removing the rock, he waived the service fee. I had come to the store armed with my computer, homework, and was prepared to wait for hours. In fact, I'm sitting here now killing time waiting for rush hour traffic to clear because of the efficiency of Jack and his team. Thank you! More
My XM radio in my 2011 Camry started coming in intermittently so i stopped in to see what the problem was. Romie got my car right in and found that my XM antenna had a short in it. He advised me o intermittently so i stopped in to see what the problem was. Romie got my car right in and found that my XM antenna had a short in it. He advised me of the problem, ordered a new one and assured me that it was covered under my warranty. When it came in he called me and made an appointment to have it fixed. The entire process was very easy and reassuring after the frustration of wondering why all parts of my audio system worked perfectly except for my satellite radio. Romie was friendly, professional, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. More
This is the worst dealership in Oregon in my opinion and personal experience there. I had a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck as trade-in and went there to buy a 4-Runner model. I took a test drive, loved the v personal experience there. I had a Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck as trade-in and went there to buy a 4-Runner model. I took a test drive, loved the vehicle but the price is a little bit over my budget i wanted to spend. We sat down, negotiated the price with the sale person, had made a few offers .... we were about $1500 different apart in agreed deal. I was there about forty-five minutes to one hour sitting there listening to the sale person and one of his managers or supervisors pushing the sale on me. We agreed on the price of my trade in, except $1500 difference which I thought it was above my budget I wanted to spend. I decided to go to lunch and think it over but they refused to hand my keys for my truck which I was going to used it as my trade in. They wanted me to sit down and continue to the negotiation. I said NO ... I wanted to go to lunch because my girlfriend was waiting for me there. I told them that I would think over lunch and come back to continue the negotiation. Still they refused to give me the keys to my Toyota Tacoma truck ... I got up set, these idiots were not thinking about my time and my feeling at all. I repeated to the manager three times, demanded my keys to my truck .... I also added, " I do not want to waste your time sitting here because we were obviously did not agree in the final price, and I do not want you to waste my time either ". Then the manager replied, " But my time is worth more than you! " . I was stunt to hear this insulting on my intelligence and character as a person and a potential customer to Ron Tonkin dealership. I became anger and wanted to get out of there asap, so I made one last attempt demanding for my keys, "Give my my xxxxing keys so I can go....". Then they noticed my angry mood, finally handed me my keys and said, "You don't have to be rude ..." I did not to further want to get in more confrontation so I took my keys and left. These sale people do not care about people, all they think about is making their sales .... I would never ever go to Ron Tonkin dealership ever again. These people are unprofessional and will do anything to pressure people in their sale tactics. If you want your dignity, respect, please go to other dealerships. More
The customer service was outstanding. Justin Lemons, who I dealt with the entire time was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Very accomodating, friendly and knowledgable. I worked with Kip Christenson in their internet sales department. He made me an offer on a new 2010 Prius. I printed his email out and went to Ron Tonkin to purchase the car. When we arrive, Kip was not there, he had spoken with his manager, Justin Lemon and told him about the deal he had made with us. Justin refused to honor the offer Kip had made me, even when looking at the email documentation I had printed. Justin refused to work with us at all. It's this kind of shady interactions that give this industry a bad name. I would never ever work with this dealer. They lied to us, refused to honor a written agreement and were overall incredibly rude. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM RON TONKIN! More
I didn't end up buying here, mostly because nobody had the Toyota I wanted new, and used Toyotas are so overinflated right now. It's a bit more high pressure than most lots, but they're earnest. They didn the Toyota I wanted new, and used Toyotas are so overinflated right now. It's a bit more high pressure than most lots, but they're earnest. They didn't set a foot wrong, just didn't have a car I wanted at a price I was willing to pay. If you're not getting the deal you'd like on the Sienna, look at Kia. I wound up at Dick Hannah Kia, and had a great experience, a great price, and the Sedona is a great car compared to the Sienna at a better price tag. If you have your heart set on a Toyota, go talk to Allwyn, he's fantastic. More
