Save your time and money and go to Wilsonville. My last oil change took over 3 1/2 hours even though I had an appointment. The last straw was the 5th time I took my 2010 Toyota Camry in to get the driver's window fixed. My other appointments lasted up to 5 hours but still no results. They were supposed to get authorization from my extended Toyota warranty but lost all the info in the computer. They found the first visit from the previous year but couldn't find anything from the other 3 times I brought it in. They previously said the switches needed replaced but when they couldn't find the authorization info they did another inspection. Now they claimed it was the weather stripping. They claimed they "fixed" the insulation but next time it failed I noticed it was all bunched up. I called and scheduled an appointment and was told there would be no charged for the repair but the person wasn't there the day of the appointment. They now wanted over $100 to fix the damage they caused. They even got rude when I refused to pay and asked another employee to try to find the notes from the previous visits. They asked "how did they damage it?" I wish I could've watched them so I would know. I will NEVER go to Tonkin again. I was able to drive to Wilsonville, get my oil changed, drive home and still took 2 hours less then my oil change at Tonkin. I will save my time and money and just drive to Wilsonville from now on. More

Berkely was our sales rep and he did a FANTASTIC job. We appreciated his friendliness and customer service. Unfortunately, when we were sent to the financial manager, Steve Lucero, we had a completely different experience. Had we not already signed papers to buy the car, we would have walked out. We brought cash to pay for the car because we were either going to buy a car there at the dealer or move on to Craigslist to buy a car. Craigslist purchases work with cash. Steve treated us like children lecturing us on carrying around cash like we weren't adults handling our own money. He had no concept of customer service. He had to count the money and had to find someone else that worked there to count it and confirm it. He acted like a child having to do his job. It is amazing to me that people who are PAYING money for a service can be treated like such an inconvenience to them. We truly felt like it was an inconvenience to be PAYING this guy our money. We were truly dissatisfied with our experience after that. It is sad that one man can ruin an experience. We will not be returning because we generally don't like going back to a place that made us feel HORRIBLE about ourselves. On top of that, my husband's parents were there very interested as they will be buying a new car in the near future and were talking about coming back being that they saw the positive experience in working with Berkely. Due to how our experience ended, they will not be coming back either. I hope Steve can learn to do his job without whining about it and maybe learn to develop a sense of customer service that makes customers want to come back or get others to come back as well. I'm sorry for Ron Tonkin to have to lose out on business like that. More
Purchased a 2011 Toyota Sienna Van Contacted Ron Tonkin Dealership after 3 consecutive years of tire replacements. Normal vehicles may need tire replacements every 3-5 years. Apparently there is a "design" issue that Toyota and their sales representatives are aware of...and refuse to recognize. I mean, these tires are unusable after 1 year. All alignment and suspension issues were dealt with the 1st year...though should have been the responsibility of Toyota. This van is more of a truck, by weight...which is how the tires react. Passenger tires are softer rubber than truck tires...and not intended for trucks. This van requires a truck tire to correct the problem...however, can not accommodate a truck tire...nor can the suspension be altered to allow for truck tires. I explained all of this to Steve Barker, Sales Manager...and his attitude, or what I took away from the conversation was, I'm sorry you dislike the van. Not my problem. Well Steve, this is my response to both you and Toyota. The element of trust has been broken. Monday I am proud to say, I traded the money pit for a 2014 Subaru. As a consumer I have rights too...and I encourage anyone who has a viable issue with their vehicle to share that information via this wonderful avenue called the internet to protect someone else from having to go through this same or similar issues. Cars, whether American or Foreign cost body parts...and should be expected to be reliable in every aspect, especially within the first 5-7 years while most are paying for them. More

First let me say that Ali was great to work with, I kept him busy with price negotiation. I was pleased with his service. now to the bad! My wife and I arrived around 10:20 am on Sunday (2-16-14) where we meet Ali, I asked to look at a used dodge charger that they had advertise online! Ali looked for the car to no avail. after 10 min Ali informed us that the used car manager had taken the car home and that they would contact him, a few min later Ali said he was on his way. 35 to 40 minutes later he finally shown up, with no apology and his crap still in the car, and 60 miles added to the odometer, vary unprofessional in our opinion. Justin called me with some options that he then emailed me. A few brief phone conversations between us going over car details, 2 hours test driving and signing paperwork and I was in the car of my dreams. He kept everything very simple and was the most polite guy in auto sales I have ever met. I told him that if I met him in the "world" I would never have pegged him for a car salesman. All of the staff were genuinely great, friendly and helpful. I would recommend them over and over. The selection was fantastic and they go to bat for you with the loan company. Very impressed. The experience with Ron Tonkin Toyota was by far the best I have ever had. I started my search for a vehicle in mid January via the internet and contacted several dealers. It wasn't until those dealers could not meet my requirements that I looked at Ron Tonkin's website. In the span of one Friday evening Mansour replied to 5 of my emails whereas the other dealers had fewer emails over the span of several weeks. Every person I talked with was pleasant and very professional. All my questions were answered. The deal was low pressure and I was able to close the deal in one afternoon. The customer service was great as I traded 2 vehicles and Ron Tonkin's staff gave me a ride home upon delivering the second vehicle ( the logistics was difficult for me prior to meeting with Ron Tonkin's staff). Every detail was taken care of so I had nothing to worry about. I highly recommend Ron Tonkin Toyota and I will be a long term customer of theirs. More

The Toyota brand has some good dealerships in the Pacific Northwest but in my experience, Ron Tonkin is the best. When me and my wife decided to buy a new Tundra we went to Tonkin and another local dealer. Tonkin quoted us a great price on a new Tundra along with a very fair offer for our trade with truly "No Bull" unlike the other dealer we visited. The showroom was neat, clean, and well laid out. All the staff were professional and attentive to our needs while we were there. One thing both me and my wife came away with was how thorough our sales staff were. We left the dealership with our new car and absolutely no unanswered questions about the deal or vehicle. I cannot say enough good about our sales team which consisted of Brad Ostlund, Jason Ball, and David Rhey. Every one of these folks were fantastic to work with and helped make our experience a truly great one. These guys are professionals and it really showed. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Toyota product. More
