I have a car to trade in and they not only came in low on the trade value price, which can happen but then they tried to also sell me an inferior model of the car I specifically said I was interested in. - - Then they told me they needed the VIN number of the car I was looking at on THEIR website, when my original note was already attached to their ad for that specific car. Moreover, when I looked and found the car again on their website, they had now raised the price of the same car by over $3,000 from what it was just a few hours before. - And their excuse to me, prices do fluctuate. So this is a dealership that will try and sell you an inferior model of the car that you originally said you were interested in and then actually raise the price of the specific car you wanted by over $3,000, just in case you do not fall for their first pitch, while then hoping that you won't notice the 2nd one. So in other words, you cannot trust them. With that in mind, why would you buy a car from a dealership that has management that will not only try and take advantage of you not just once, but twice. That was my first and last buying experience with Ron Tonkin Toyota of Portland. More
