3 stars because buying a new car always takes too long. We were at the dealership for 6 hours. That said we bought 2 cars: a corrolla hybrid and a rav4 hybrid. The deals on both cars were good but not fabulous. Where I struggled is with the financing and the upsale. Though the programs were good whether or not we needed them is debatable. we really should have stuck to our guns but we were so absolutely tired and exhausted after 6 hours. I am suspicious this is a wear down tactic. We got a little screwed but at least they used lube. Our Salesperson Bryant was absolutely wonderful and lovely and I would recommend him. I think it's more buying a new car and having to haggle for what is fair that stresses me out. They low-balled our trade in but we stuck to our guns and were prepared to walk if we didn't get enough for a trade in. WE ended up with long xxx payment plans I hate but we had to keep payments at a certain level. The finance guy Dimitri is friendly and entertaining, but really holds on to selling the extras: maintenance, gap, and whatever other plan we bought. All that said, as far as buying a new car, go in prepared to haggle and stand your ground. bring snacks because it will be a lonnnnnng time. Only buy new if you must and if you want a no haggle place go to a rental car place that sales cars at good deals with a no haggle policy. If Tonkin is reading, just give people a fair deal and don't make them fight for what is decent and right. if you can't, then perhaps you could create a no haggle lot for those of us who prefer to just get a fair deal. After hearing this, I was disappointed and said, "This was not our deal. You should honor the agreement." Then he told me that he could find another car in a few hours. In 2915, when we decided to take a trip across the country and back we decided it was necessary to find a newer car with lower mileage (we had an older Sienna to trade in). Ali came through with a 2014 Sienna which has been a joy to drive. Reluctantly, we've decided to say good-bye to the Sienna to purchase a slightly smaller car. Ali came through again and we're now the proud owners of a 2019 RAV-4. We are very appreciative of the staff at Ron Tonkin (all those that we've met) and Jack Lord in the the service department. Helped my daughter buy a car this past month. Toyota is offering a $500 rebate for college graduates, so my daughter brought her diploma to the dealership.
