I LOVE my KIA. I bought it brand new at RT Kia in Gladstone in 2012 and have had zero problems with it. Regular oil changes and brakes is IT for over 100K miles! Great service. Jennifer Moran Lopez was friendly and professional and courteous. When things quieted down after the morning "rush" I had a chance to watch Christian interact with an elderly customer and he was so kind to her. All was great and worth driving over 35 miles to have this simple recall taken care of. KIA's are great cars. More

Worst service I have had in a long time. Service Advisor Jennifer Moran Lopez does not belong in Customer Service. She is rude, and not a good representative for Ron Tonkin KIA. My 2019 KIA Forte was taken to this dealership for repairs after I purchased it from a different dealership. They had the vehicle for about two weeks. The day after the car was returned to the dealers repairs after I purchased it from a different dealership. They had the vehicle for about two weeks. The day after the car was returned to the dealership that I purchased it, I picked the car up. I left that dealership and stopped at a local restaurant and noticed the driver door handle lock cover was missing, later found in the car. I also noticed that the key fob was not working and that the servicing service department installed the anti theft software for this vehicle. I also observed the low tire pressure symbol on(all tires were at the correct PSI). None of this was this way when I took the car back to the dealership that sold the car. So far not a big deal, I’ll just take it back to the dealer that did the repairs. I called the service department at this dealership and was very unprofessionally and rudely spoken to by a lady from the service department. i tried to explain the situation and concerns and she immediately told me to deal with the dealership that sold me the car about my alleged concerns! I then told her I was not calling to have them replace the cover it is easy enough to pop back on, I am looking for information on what would cause the remote not to work (and yes I changed the battery first). Would the Anti Theft software cause this was my question. In a very rude and defensive tone she snapped and said a software update would not de-program a fob. She didn’t even give me the opportunity to include or disconnecting the battery for an extended period of time while the original repair was done. I have not had a lot of experience dealing with this or any of Tonkins dealerships but the commercial that says “we believe in nice” certainly didn’t hold true with this encounter. She not only represents this one particular dealership but all dealerships under the Ron Tonkin brand name. Very disappointed and I will tell everyone I know and can about my experience with this person. More

Wrong tires on car, wrong price on tires from quote when I set the appointment, alignment made worse - should have skipped that, car was better before. ECU update from Kia just robbed torque and leaves a huge flat spot down low (rpm) even in lower gears. (Never stuff your foot in it at 2200-2600 in 5th or 6th and expect something to happen, but in first or second it used to pull.) Had to go in again to get correct tires on car, and no thoughts from them on comping me or a coupon for free oil change next time, sorry for the inconvenience. They took the inconvenienced stance that I'd driven around on their tires for a week. Scheduled an oil change appointment last month to see if they'd straightened out, only to be told I'd missed my appointment earlier in the week because that's what the computer said. I elevated it to the service manager before making the appointment, letting him know my displeasure with my previous experience, and they still totally blew it, again. Some of the earlier positive reviews (2019) when Garrett was the person you'd interact with, ring true to my experience, but the last couple years, not so much. Would leave no stars but can't submit without one. Never. Going, Back More
