Dear Valued Customer, I have spoken with our Service Advisor at it appears that there may have been a communication error. Detrik was not provided with the information you recieved from our Parts Department. There are a few keys, specifically a T-5 key for older year model elements that still can be purchased as a key only, but most of the new keys available unless they are valet keys do require a programming fee for our Technicians to activate. The normal cost of these keys can be up to $200.00. I would encourage you to contact our Customer Relations Director if you would like to speak in more detail. Your business is very important to us, and we look forward to resolving your concern.
