If it was not for this hard working and very diligent person paying very close attention to her job and the total satisfaction of her customers, I would never have received the "Air Bag" which was greatly needed for my car. She really went to bat for Me in every way possible to make sure the issue at hand was well taken care of, and with 100% satisfaction.. Consistent quality, value and trust! I have a love/hate relationship with cars. I love them when they work. Hate having problems. This is why I always stick with reliable brands (Honda, Toyota, Apple, Nokia, Craftsman, etc). But even with the best brands, things can go wrong. We have a Honda Odyssey Touring Edition with 75K miles. A lot can go wrong with this car as there are a LOT of gadgetry on this van. For the most part we have not had any major issues. Except one. The front axle had a wobble to it that was hard to locate but eventually replaced free of charge from Honda. Excellent service and care, even though it was out of warranty. Ron Tonkin went the extra mile to communicate to Honda that it looks like a manufacturing defect. As I said, Honda picked up the tab. But that experience is not why I am writing. 20K miles or so AFTER the axle was fixed, I had a ball joint go bad on the same side. Again, they determined that this was related to the bad axle (wobble) and Honda picked up the cost for this. All of this could not have happened without Ron Tonkin advocating for their customers. They really take the stress out of owning and servicing a car. One last note....From time to time I do call around to other dealerships and private Honda service shops and find that Ron Tonkin's service prices are right in the middle of the road on cost if not lower. Long story short, after a long day of wo I would like to take this time and give a shout out to Josh, one of the service managers at Ron Tonkin Honda. Long story short, after a long day of work I noticed my tire was very flat. I called Ron Tonkin Honda but unfortunately I called when the service department was closed so I left a detailed messaged. In the meantime I pumped my tires with air at a local gas station. The next morning my tire seemed fine so I drove around running errands. After driving around for a couple hours my "Check Tire Pressure" message popped up and sure enough my tire was once again flat. Since it was already 2PM and I still never got a call back I was pretty upset, I called Ron Tonkin again and the receptionist assured me that I would get a call back. Josh called me within 15 minutes. I do have to admit, I was a little difficult on the phone but he managed to stay polite and professional and was able to check my tire that same day! I got to Ron Tonkin Service department at 3PM and was out of there before 5PM. Apparently I had a good size nail in my tire. Thank you Josh for all of your help and definitely your patience with me. I very much appreciate your urgency in getting my tire fixed! The best part about this too was that it was completely free! I completely recommend buying or getting service done here at Ron Tonkin Honda! More

This visit was for repainting the delaminated roof of the car. The work was excellent and guaranteed for the life of the car. The shuttle service was great (David Cho and Juan) and the staff in the Body Shop office is great. Detrik Blue has been a great service advisor over the years and I want to be sure to mention him. Body work and customer service was good but.. Joe was very nice to work with and I liked having the emails throughout the process to update me on what was going on with my vehicle. Although the body work and customer service were good, when I got my vehicle back it had mouse droppings throughout the inside of the car (cup holders, glove box, seats). There was also a very strong smell when I turned on my air vents. That could be from it sitting in the shop for 1 1/2 weeks. I'm a little nervous about whether there are still mice or even a dead mouse causing the continued smell. More

We feel that employees like Nichole and Ken are genuinely involved and concerned with the safety of our families using Honda automobiles; and we are very grateful to Nichole and Ken for this caliber of customer service. At Ron Tonkin Honda getting my element recall taken care of. I wanted a new spare key while I wait. So I asked the parts desk and he quoted me $30. So I went to the service desk guy to let him know and he t of. I wanted a new spare key while I wait. So I asked the parts desk and he quoted me $30. So I went to the service desk guy to let him know and he tried to say the key is "$30-something" and another $78 for programing. This is right after I asked the parts guy how much it was. If you think car salesmen are shady, your service desk guy is just as shady if not more and they have it easier because your car is in for service and you guard is down. People should be aware of these bs when they bring their car in for services. I understand that service guys makes money off of commission but to lie to face like that after I asked one of your staff on the price of a key is pretty messed up. More
