David Way was very personable and I really enjoyed working with him. I got the exact vehicle I wanted, and will always go through the internet sales department for future purchases! We had a wonderful experience at this dealership. We were very clear about what we wanted and how much we were willing to spend. Dakota Lucero and David McGee worked with us without trying to over sell were very clear about what we wanted and how much we were willing to spend. Dakota Lucero and David McGee worked with us without trying to over sell and got us exactly what we wanted. We were able to test drive, ask any and all questions and then work with them to get a monthly payment that met our request. During the process everyone had great humor, they were friendly and at no time was there pressure to sell us "more car" than we needed. They showed us any and all options so that we were aware but did not over do the selling. When working with Kirk Dulaney to do the final finances we again were treated with respect, honesty and a friendly customer service. He made sure we understood all of our options around the warranty and once we made our decision - he did not over sell or try to change our mind. Everyone was respectful of our time and needs. We will go back to this dealership and ask to work with these three again. Our only suggestion is that they have food or snacks available because the process of buying a car takes a bit - so it would be nice to have some thing to eat. :) More

I worked with a salesman who helped with an online purchase. He did not meet my expectations as a dealership Gold certified salesman but Suzanne O'Neil in the Finance Office was more than professiona purchase. He did not meet my expectations as a dealership Gold certified salesman but Suzanne O'Neil in the Finance Office was more than professional, confident & was not willing to allow the deal to go through without doing everything she possibly could. First my insurance carrier was closed & she reminded me to get a policy online so I could take the car same day as the purchase. Secondly, she corrected 2 mistakes made by sales. Thirdly, she got me a better interest rate the next day which includes a service contract for the term of my loan. I cannot express more deep appreciation to her "bulldog" attitude when it came to getting me into my new (pre-owned) vehicle. Once I came back the next day to say thanks, my salesman was apologetic for his mistakes & we have since made amends. No shady business dealings here - this dealership is worth recommending. More
This was the first time I had purchased a car from a dealer. It was a fantastic experience. Suzanne (the finance lady) was awesome. She looked for 2 hours to find me a better interest rate. She has wonderful person, extremely helpful, and very pleasant to talk to and work with. The salesmen were good humored and friendly even after my father made fun of their ties. "Nice tie, do they sell men's clothes where you got that?" Hilarious. Ron Tonkin Honda will be at the top of my list when I look for another car, and Suzanne is the main reason for that. Who would have known buying a used car would be so much fun? More

The absolute WORST car buying experience I ever had. Among other issues: for financing I was assured that I would receive the best rate available including from credit unions. I have an excellent cr Among other issues: for financing I was assured that I would receive the best rate available including from credit unions. I have an excellent credit rating. They told me that the best rate was Honda Financial Services at 3.99% . So I took it. When I got home, I checked online and in less than 5 minutes found several credit unions offering 1.99%. So of course I re-financed with the credit union (had to wait 2 months for the registration to arrive and pay DMV a $77 fee). as I was getting ready to leave Ron Tonkin with my new car, I noticed that it did not have the all weather package that I bought. Nobody at the dealer had bothered to check the car. within 30 seconds (really) of driving away, a warning light came on. The dealer was already closed for the evening so there was nothing to do until the next day. Again, terrible customer service in making certain the car was OK. the duplicate set of keys they gave me did not work! They were for a different car. When I went back to Ron Tonkin, they kept me waiting for over an hour. Finally they told me they were making a new key, but the car would have to be programmed for the key to work. I could not wait, so they promised me they would call me within 30 minutes to set up an appointment. 3 days later, I still did not get a call back. So I called the dealer and set up an appointment. 15 minutes later, I got a call back saying they found the proper key. When they brought it to my house, it was the same set of keys that did not work! So again I needed an appointment. The next day when I went to the appointment, after about 20 minutes I was told that they can't make the key at the dealer and they didn't have it in stock - so the sales person totally lied to me when he told me they were making the key. In the end, they got the correct key and programmed the car. I will say that there is one person there in Customer Service (Stephanie) who is honest and very helpful. But everyone else is not to be trusted. I will NEVER buy a car again from any Ron Tonkin dealership. More
I originally was going to buy my Mazda 3 at roin tokin Mazda but I felt like the guy trying to sell didn't not care about my concerns about the car so I walked away. And went roin tokin Honda down the road Ollie heard me out and fixed the one little problem and made the car all the more worth buying it was fast and easy and me and my mom loved his jokes he's jokes he was amazing !!
