Confused by the amount of dealerships and choices of vehicles, we arrived at Ron Marhofer in Cuyahoga Falls. We were assisted by Deb Stanzak who welcomed us graciously. We immediately were at ease and began our shopping process. We told her our preference in a car. She immediately put us behind the wheel of several vehicles we were looking for. She left no stone unturned and was diligent in her search on our behalf. We made a decision and are now the proud owners of a SantaFe SUV. I think a combination of professionalism and a warm welcome by Deb, will bring us back again to this location. Thanks Ron Marhofer! More

They had several cars with nice options to choose from, beat the price of other local competing dealerships, and we're accommodating and led us every step of the way with helpful information. We never felt pressure of any kind. Best of all, we were in and out in 3 hours! That's perfect for our needs, but everyone made it clear that they would spend more time with us if we wished to go over any questions. We will definitely recommend Brian and this dealership and would absolutely buy there again! More
Grateful Customer I've never been to a dealership like this one. I was very surprised as soon as I walked on the lot and was NOT assulted by salesman. They worked out a deal that worked for me and didn't pressure me on any part of it. I was upside down but instead of brushing me off as a difficult customer, they worked it out. CJ Gran got us all sorted out with everything we needed. The next day there were additional hoops I put them through but Matt handled them all nicely. There were two after sale contacts that also didn't disappoint. I had left something in the car I traded in and was a little concerned about it. CJ answered my text and put his hands on it. Seems like a small thing, but I also appreciated being able to text him. When I have a quick thought about leaving something in the car, I don't need to make a five minute phone call with a 4 minute wait. Happy to be able to shoot a quick text. The pros: Before driving an hour away they did verify the vehicle was still available. The Cherry Coke in the waiting area was good. The cons: I waited for a 1/2 hour while they appraised my trade-in j the vehicle was still available. The Cherry Coke in the waiting area was good. The cons: I waited for a 1/2 hour while they appraised my trade-in just sitting at a table. They did not multi-task and have me fill out paperwork during this time. Did not seem to like that I was shopping with a blank check auto loan. Undervalued my trade-in (which is typical at a dealership so I won't be too critical here). Was unable to close the deal on day 1 because they felt they could beat the rate on my blank check loan. After I offered to leave a deposit for the vehicle so they would NOT sell it they said not to worry about it because I already had approval. Day 2 they were still "working on paperwork" Sales person Robert DID call to check up, but said he was off and would pick-up where we left off on Day 3 (THURS 3/20) I called at 12:40 PM after not hearing from them to see what the hold up was. Having a critical care child I cannot just pick up and travel an hour on a whim! They told me they were waiting back to hear from Nissan Finance so I could get some sort of rebate for a CPO car. I had a busy schedule so I was going to follow up and close the deal on Friday since I was off from work. At 7PM I get a phone call with an apology stating that they sold the car (in my opinion to someone who probably utilized their onsite financing). This salesperson did not effectively communicate with coworkers and/or superiors to ensure that vehicle was not sold from underneath him. He obviously was unfamiliar with taking a deposit to secure vehicle or it was preplanned once they knew I was not intending to utilize their financing. Very disappointed that they wasted my time and tricked me into un-commiting from a sale I was going to secure at a competitor dealership locally. Really wish I could believe that this was unintentional but I can't "buy it" no pun intended! It would be nice for them to make things right, but I am not one to hold my breath. Glad to have this negative experience behind me. ***HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND unless you have a lot of time for games*** I will update this review if this company makes things right! More
About 3 1/2 months ago my husband bought a truck from the Ron Marhofer Nissan dealership off of Howe Rd in Cuyahoga Falls. When he test drove it he immediately noticed a red fluid leaking and he assumed sinc Ron Marhofer Nissan dealership off of Howe Rd in Cuyahoga Falls. When he test drove it he immediately noticed a red fluid leaking and he assumed since they did a thorough check he just assumed it was something small like the power steering. My husband told them that he really liked the truck but noticed the leak, what he assumed it was and asked for it to be checked out. Brad, the guy trying to sell my husband his truck, said "Oh yeah! I will definitely have that checked out for you because Ron Marhofer himself makes sure that all of his vehicles driving off his lots are in perfect condition and doesn't want anything wrong with them." (This was the second time I’ve heard this statement because my car’s ac pump wasn’t working properly and they got me in immediately to have it fixed for this reason) After figuring out all of the financing and my husband went back into to talk to Brad and sign paperwork, Brad told my husband he was not "eligible" for an extended warranty. After all paperwork was signed my husband drove off the lot with his new truck and a "we owe you" paper for the leak and Brad told him that he would call him and let him know when they could get him in to have it checked and fixed. After a week of waiting for the phone call my husband decided to call Brad but he could never get ahold of him or get him to return his phone calls when he left messages. Finally my husband decided to go in to talk to Brad personally but he never seemed to be in either. Fast forward to current day, my husband has a broken down truck that needs a whole new transmission because of their lack of proper customer service and not figuring out that the leak that we had on the truck was actually a transmission problem that lead to bigger problems down the road. Since we were told that we weren't eligible for the extended warranty, we don't have one, and the dealership and the sales manager will not make it right with us. This is the second vehicle we have bought from them with a transmission problem less than 4 months after purchasing it. We have made countless attempts for them to help us with the problem that should of been handled long before this. Now we are stuck with a broken down truck that we paid over $13,000 for and got just over 3,000 miles out of. These people are crooks and will do whatever it takes to steal your money and meet their quotes. NO they may not get paid commission but like every place you work you still have a goal to meet and if you do not then you will lose your job. They say: " Quality products, personable people, and a unique business philosophy are what you will find when you walk into our dealership." But really you walk out with everything opposite. Poor quality products and very dishonest sales people. And if their sales philosophy is to rip people off then that is the only thing you will find. Very very unsatisfied and quite frankly just disgusted at the way these people do business. Never purchase a vehicle from them!!!!! More
