First the positive- Darryl Thompson was easy to work with, good with responding to emails quickly, and pleasant. He was not the one who showed us the vehicle- that was Norville from the Hyundai dealersh with, good with responding to emails quickly, and pleasant. He was not the one who showed us the vehicle- that was Norville from the Hyundai dealership across the street. He went out of his way to help us test drive an Ioniq 5 that was located elsewhere (even though I had messaged ahead letting someone else know I was traveling to test drive it, and they acknowledged this) and took us to the Nissan dealership to test the Kia. We enjoyed the Kia, and the pricing seemed good. Now the negative. We went through the process of applying for a loan, with zero down. The plan was to try to finance through just me, but we were clear that if we needed my wife to cosign to help bring the rate down, we were perfectly fine with this. They proceeded to try to get rates and monthly payments as close as possible to what we were hoping for- which is great! That's what they're supposed to do! BUT we didn't know they were doing this, and were sitting around for at least an hour without updates about what was going on. My wife eventually went and found the finance guy and let him know that we needed to get going- they were closing and we had been sitting idle for so long. He told us it was very tough to get us where we wanted to be for monthly payments, but over that hour he never tried to check with my wife as a cosigner. Despite this, we were pretty close to where we wanted to be without any additional warranty or GAP insurance added on. He then informed us that the factory warranty for the Kia would drop from the 10 year/100k mile down to 5 year/60k- this is standard with any Kia and Hyundai being sold to a second owner. He then pushed hard to get us to purchase an extended warranty, stating we basically needed it for ease of mind with these electric vehicles. Since this was a manufacturer buyback vehicle, we were convinced. Unfortunately this put us over our comfortable budget. He told us the cost now is only $3k for the extended warranty and GAP coverage, but if we wanted to buy it later, it would cost $6k. We walked, because again it was over our budget. What bothered me was that he never told us about the 10 year/100k mile EV systems warranty that DOES fully transfer. This would have put us at ease, but he either chose to omit this, or wasn't aware of it. I would be surprised if it was the latter. After the weekend we were still interested in the vehicle, which dropped in price by $1k, so I contacted the general manager and let him know we submitted a request for financing with my wife as the cosigner. This got us better financing and got us to our desired price. We chose not to get the extended warranty, which seemed to irritate the finance person, and he tried his best to convince us we were making a bad decision. He then pushed for the GAP coverage, and I informed him this was covered by my insurance so there was no need. He got annoyed with that answer as well and tried to convince me my insurance company was likely causing a conflict of interest by providing that. We still didn't budge, and bought the vehicle at our desired price. I was very excited to go pick up my new-to-me Kia EV6. When I got there it was ready and charging in the showroom, and was immaculately clean. When I inquired about the charging cable that usually comes with an electric vehicle, I was told there wasn't one with this and that's how it usually is. So I had to buy an aftermarket charging cable, and needed to charge at charging stations until it arrived. Not a huge deal, but still a bit disappointing that they don't include a charging cable when selling an EV. So, would I buy from here again? I honestly don't know. The base cost of the vehicle was great, and truthfully that was the only reason I came here. I suppose if I were in the market again, I would consider it, but go in prepared to be pressured into extended warranties and GAP coverages. More

Test drove a 2018 BMW 330ix that was listed for $17K on Edmunds, but the dealer's asking price was $18K plus $400 in processing fees. Asked for a final offer for a retired senior citizen on 12.6.25. The Edmunds, but the dealer's asking price was $18K plus $400 in processing fees. Asked for a final offer for a retired senior citizen on 12.6.25. The dealer texted a quote that also included $1K for 7 year interior & exterior warranty that was not needed. When I reqested a final cash offer with no extras like the warranty & processing fee, the dealer's sales consultant never responded. So much for trasparency & no haggling buying experience as listed on ots website. More
People are always friendly, courteous and professional. The waiting area is comfortable although I do miss the real coffee and occasional donut. Seriously, I wouldn’t take my car any other place.
