Buy from the Dealership, not the Manufacturer As with the comments left for Hyundai, regardless of how much a manufacturer try to keep separating their vehicles from the competition, when it comes As with the comments left for Hyundai, regardless of how much a manufacturer try to keep separating their vehicles from the competition, when it comes down to it vehicles have become more similar brand to brand rather than less. It's why looking at the dealership we're buying/leasing from is really more important that the brand. There's still the issues of comfort, fit and finish, drivetrain, and all the specifics of a given vehicle, all these are basically spreadsheet comparisons. And when you're in a specific category, most of these are nearly the same. There are some things simply not offered brand-to-brand, and sometimes the way trim levels and packages are structured make it difficult to make reasonable comparisons. The really important evaluations are between dealers. We've bought/leased several vehicles from Marhofer and have found the front-end experience to be excellent in all cases. We also feel the Service, Parts and Body Shop departments have virtually always been staffed with quality, knowledgeable people who provide information but never push "to make the sale." The best thing we can say is we're certainly happy customers. (BTW: If you're wondering why the "Good" rating on "Price," I always, always want it cheaper but that's me.) More
