My O2 sensor is a bit rusted and instead of trying known techniques to remove it, they wanted to brute force it and have me give them the green light to damage my catalytic converter, which they wanted to c techniques to remove it, they wanted to brute force it and have me give them the green light to damage my catalytic converter, which they wanted to charge me an extra 3 grand for if they broke it during the process. I understand not wanting to take the liability, but if they would take the time to do it properly there should not be damage done to other parts of the vehicle. I bought my car here and had hopes that if anyone could do it properly, it would be them especially for what they were charging, boy was I wrong. O2 sensor threads are known to rust, so you think they would have experience in this area. It is disappointing to say the least. More
DO NOT BUY A HYUNDAI OR BUY FROM THIS TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP. I purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. I purchased extended warranties as I was led to believe they would "kick in" after DEALERSHIP. I purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership. I purchased extended warranties as I was led to believe they would "kick in" after the factory warranty expired, only to find that was NOT the case and I was essentially paying for a warranty on top of a warranty I already had, shameful Marhofer. The service dept is terrible, ridiculously expensive and poor workmanship. The sales dept will tell you anything they want in order to get you to purchase a vehicle, READ the fine print. Now on to Hyundai vehicles......if you are considering a Hyundai (any Hyundai) make sure you read the attached first (I guarantee you wont want to buy one after reading it) https://hyundaithetaenginesettlement.com/ AND https://hyundaithetaenginesettlement.com/docs/Theta_Settlement_Notice.pdf So if you buy any Hyundai be aware that around 50k-60K they all starting burning oil, by the time you hit 80K they will be burning LOTS OF OIL. I had two of my vehicles burn three quarts of oil every 500 miles and the are under 80K mileage. Hyundai knows this is a design fault. SO they settled the lawsuit with a "lifetime engine warranty". Sounds great eh? Not so fast. You need to pay $260 to do an oil change and an oil consumption test to "prove" its burning oil. Once they determine that you then have to pay $900 for a carbon cleaning and then do another oil consumption test. If it fails that again you get to get the engine replaced !! Fantastic right? Not so fast, you are now out $1200.00 for nothing and lucky you, you get to have a used re manufactured engine installed in your vehicle, which by the way will do the exact same thing the engine you have did !! This AFFECTS all there GDI vehicles, new and old, Sonata, Palisades, Tucson, Elantra, Santa Fe...... The Hyundai warranty isn't worth crap and the dealer about the same. Stay away from the dealer and Hyundai and dont expect your engine to last past 100K without issue. Pay the extra and buy a Honda or Toyota instead of this design flawed junk. Shameful Hyundai and Ron Marhofer. More

The staff and leadership at the Hyundai store are exceptional. Their sales staff are salaried not commission based; they work on providing you the best experience for what YOU want not what brings i exceptional. Their sales staff are salaried not commission based; they work on providing you the best experience for what YOU want not what brings in the most money for their paychecks. They are a high-volume store and sometimes there is a wait to get into finance and get the deal complete. Should you ever feel uncomfortable with anything, just speak up and they'll do their very best to address your concerns. I've been here going on 8 years and feel very strong about the amazing customer-focused approach to understanding and satisfying the needs, preferences, and expectations of every customer. More

I decided not to go with this dealer due to hidden fees and costs. They list a vehicle at a good price, I wanted a total because I was coming out of state and I was a guaranteed buyer of 1 of 2 vehicles I and costs. They list a vehicle at a good price, I wanted a total because I was coming out of state and I was a guaranteed buyer of 1 of 2 vehicles I was interested in. So I asked for the total so I could get a cashiers check. All of.a sudden the car I was buying was over $1100 more with charges. Making the car cost more than what blue book value was. $695 for a protective spray coat for inside and out. Wait what?? That wasn't my decision. A $422 documentation fee. When I informed them I wasn't paying that there response was just come see the car anyway and then decide. A 3 1/2 hour drive? Then I had to listen to the manager tell me about his wife and how they drove out of state just to look at a car. I said stop talking. Either the $695 gets removed or keep your car. Bottom line. I didn't wait for a response. I bought a car from a private seller, saved over $2000 and they can keep their coated car. Ridiculous or what?? I am very happy with the deal I made. Just so everyone is away ohio changed their laws. They are allowed to charge ridiculous documentation fees now. This dealer took it to the max at $422 plus $695 for a spray the dealership chose to do. Not my bill or cost.. Buyers beware. They are only forcing people to seek private sellers especially with the dealer adding on $695 not even making the car worth the cost and taking the documentation fee to the max.. Never again. Waste of my time. My time is money. More
