He got us a really good deal but what we really admired about him was the time he took to walk us through all of the features of the automobile, what they were for and how to use them. He is a very pleasant person. When we get ready for our next purchase, Don Kipp is the salesman we hope to do business with. Ms D. Burns More

I RECOMMEND ROMAIN CROSS POINT TO EVERYONE! I have bought 3 cars from Romain Cross Pointe in the last 4 years. I have been ecstatic with every aspect of my purchase for each car! My salesmen w I have bought 3 cars from Romain Cross Pointe in the last 4 years. I have been ecstatic with every aspect of my purchase for each car! My salesmen were David Jones and Jason Woosley. Both men went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience and a great deal. Anytime someone asks where I purchased my vehicles, I ALWAYS recommend them. They are patient while you are trying to make a decision and do not pressure you either way. Jason sold me the first car (used 2009 Subaru Legacy). It was totaled in an accident. Jason kept me informed as to what cars came on the lot in my price range, until the insurance settled and I could make another purchase (2010 Subaru Forester). David went on 5 test drives with me for my 3rd purchase and endured endless questions (2010 Chevy Mailibu)! Both men are excellent to deal with!! One of my vehicles has the Romain Life Time Warranty, so that means I deal with the Service area for any maintenance that is needed. I can honestly say that I am impressed with the Service area too. I have absolutely no complaints with any contact I have had with Romain. I still have the Subaru Forester and the Chevy Malibu, but when the time comes to purchase again, I will only look at Romain! I showed up a few minutes early and asked for James. The person looked around and said he is over there. He started to walk over and stopped with another couple. I waited around for about 20 minutes while they contacted him again. I finally got fed up and left. I called back and left a message for the person who had set up the appointment on how great it was to be put off when trying to purchase a vehicle. She apologized and asked me to come back. Stupid me, I set an appointment for the next day and came back. The salesperson was tripping over himself trying to get me to purchase the vehicle, they had wrong information and were not ready to do a deal. I ended up taking the Denali home to show the wife and decide if we wanted to go with this or the XL. We decided the Yukon would be good for us and our pets. This is where the fun really starts. I used my supplier pricing and was approved through my CU for the loan. All I needed to do was show up sign the paper work and be on my way. I arrived at 3:30 and did not get out of there until 7:30. I was livid by the time I left. The finance manager was out at the GMC store so they took me over to the Subaru store. One hour I waited, walked by his office and no one was in the store. I called, texted and did everything but pull the fire alarm and could not find anyone. The finance guy shows up and I asked for the keys to my car because I was leaving, I'd had enough. All of a sudden the sales guy is there and all ready to get my new ride ready. Now mind you they have had over 3 hours to get the truck ready. I, like an idiot, signed the paper work to get the xxxx out of the place. Looking the truck over, none of the protective film on the doors, sills, lights or rear entertainment system were pulled off. The truck was not polished, cleaned or prepped. When I had the truck home I decided to check the oil. SURPRISE, three wasp nests under the hood. Great PDI on this truck. Two days later I fill up the truck and notice a bunch of chips on the paint near the gas door. The sales manager admitted they have a problem with the lot guys filling up the new cars and damaging the paint. DUH, install a camera and do a better inspection of a new car. I won't go into the poor service department, lack of timely repairs, no loaners and rude staff. I won't buy another vehicle from this place. I've been driving 45 miles away for service. More
Why do I keep doing this? Yet another recall for my WRX. Called to schedule service on New Years Eve, was told I would be contacted when they had the parts. Should have been ab Yet another recall for my WRX. Called to schedule service on New Years Eve, was told I would be contacted when they had the parts. Should have been about a week. Almost two weeks went by and I didn't hear anything, so I called them. Turned out the parts had been in and 'oh, my! No one called you?'. Made an appointment for Wednesday of the following week for the recall and for them to check on a couple other issues (because I'm an idiot). During that call she told me that they couldn't do Wednesday after all and that Thursday was available. I received a call on Tuesday (which I missed) and no voicemail left. I called back and was told it was probably a courtesy call for my upcoming appointment. Showed up for my appointment and no one was at the service desk. I had to call the main line to get someone to show up and was told that my appointment was Wednesday. Plus, I'm really tired of auto guys trying to make me feel like an idiot. I know how cars work and if it didn't have a million computerized parts I wouldn't bring it to you. Next time I have to bring it in for a recall I'm going to take a vacation to Indy, so I never have to come back here ever again! More

I had Travis as my salesman and was very pleased with my overall interaction with him. But when I had family and mechanic do a test drive and inspection of the vehicle they noticed the rear tires had some possible dry rot on them and brakes would need to be replaced soon. The brakes I had no issue with. But I had issue with the possible dry rotted rear tires. I spoke with Travis after speaking with family and mechanic. I told him that I would like the tires to be inspected and replaced before I would move forward with purchasing the vehicle. Travis then asked Enrique about the request. I was then informed that the tires would not be replaced without the purchase price of the vehicle going up. I then contacted Enrique directly and asked if he could elaborate on his decision. He then became to get argumentative telling me that the inspection was performed and nothing was wrong with the vehicle. I confirmed with him that the inspection had been done in April and to his own omission he stated that they vehicle had not been driven since April. Then Enrique offered to give me $200 off the purchase price to "Buy my own tires" because he wasn't willing and not able to have new ones put on. I told him that it was unsafe to ask someone to drive a vehicle with dry rotted tires off the lot because they don't want to fix the problem. After more arguing about how he could make me happy and how he was on my side I ended the phone call. I then left a voicemail for his supervisor to bring resolution to this matter. You lost a customer over a safety issue. In closing I will not be bringing my business and refer all I see and talk to against doing business here. More

I was purchasing an older used vehicle which I found on Autotrader. I was treated so well, even though I was not there to get a new and/or newer vehicle. I have to say... I'm impressed! I also dealt with Finance Manager Dennis Davenport, who was also a pleasure to deal with. I cannot thank them enough for their help and courteousness towards me, especially Melissa! More
great place to buy a car, not as great for service I bought my car a year ago from romain and Its been great so far, my salesperson was Kevin in the Subaru center, I was looking at a used Monte carlo, I bought my car a year ago from romain and Its been great so far, my salesperson was Kevin in the Subaru center, I was looking at a used Monte carlo, very nice car in excellent shape, we went over my options and apparently there are 2 sales managers there and 1 is much nicer than the other, the whole process took about 2 or 3 weeks for many reasons but none bad, first he wanted to wait on a day when the good manager was there to help with the financing and then we went back and forth for a couple of days when we got some numbers I could handle, i couldnt make a trip to evansville from owwnsboro until the weekend so he broght the papers to me to sign, they held the car for me for a week so I could go up there on my payday and pick it up and deliver the check, went in later to get the car detailed and they came and picked the car up from owensboro, and later informed me of a recall, (ignition) recall didn't go as smoothly, the keys had to be adjusted but when I got them back, they were unusuable, they had to be replaced, ended up spending 4 hours at the dealer and just ended up with a new set of keys More
