Transmission issues, no help I bought a certified pre-owned CR-V for $25K in 2017. Pretty soon I noticed issues with it and reported them to the dealership multiple times. They ca I bought a certified pre-owned CR-V for $25K in 2017. Pretty soon I noticed issues with it and reported them to the dealership multiple times. They can’t get the problem to replicate, and I can’t leave my car in SJ for days on end hoping the problem will show it’s face, but I was told it was a possible transmission issue. The most prevalent issue is that it sometimes dies when backing out of the garage. It probably does this 3-4x a month randomly. I just rolled over 60K and found out that a Honda warranty is only good for 60K, so if I have transmission failure I will be liable for the replacement on a car with so few miles even though I’ve reported it multiple times. I won’t likely buy there again, so I couldn’t recommend it to others at this point. The warranty is not good. My previous cars had 100k power train warranties. I thought Honda was supposed to be superior. More

Oil change and whiny noise when braking. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Also, had a whiny noise when braking sounded like the left rear wheel. I was greeted by Lane and he asked w I brought my vehicle in for an oil change. Also, had a whiny noise when braking sounded like the left rear wheel. I was greeted by Lane and he asked why I came in. I told him. And, he started figuring. He then told me what they would probably need to do and gave me an estimate of about 7 to 8 hundred dollars. So, I told him to do it and signed the paperwork. I waited in the dealership. Lane came back in in about 40 minutes to an hour and told me they had replaced the break pads and oil the moving parts and were able to get the calipers on the left rear wheel back in working order without having to replace them. And it only cost me about $284.00 More

Fast forward to me needing a car—after weeks of searching within KC and having the “typical dealership experience” I traveled an hour to Rolling Hills to see Scott and was, again, so blown away at how much he loves and treats people. I felt ZERO pressure and was able to find the right car for me. Not only that but they were willing and OFFERED to bend over backwards to help me get my trade in to them since it’s not drivable without repair needing to be made—again, I live an HOUR away. My boyfriend who strongly dislikes dealerships was even so impressed that he will be stopping by for his next car here in the near future. Go see Scott! You will not regret it! More
